The venue is next to the station which is nice.
Any opportunity for free Vegan food shouldn't be missed!

Well I went today and spent about 4hours there. It was not as big as I thought it would be and the place was packed with people. Walked around the stalls about 5 times and went to two of the talks. One by Dean Bracher about veganism and the lifestyle which was interesting (only about 10 people sat in) and then another on sea shepherd who patrol the worlds oceans looking for illegal poachers and stop japanese whalers, which was good too.

Food wise I'd say the star of the show for me was this spinach and lentil grill burger which was just awesome.

Also downed a shot of wheatgrass with apple and lemon for the 1st time, which tasted bloody good.

There were a few raw food and cake treats. Had a cinnamon flapjack thing made out of raw ingredients, which was really good and tried some vegan chocolate orange truffle, which reminded me of chocolate orange only better.

Definitely worth the 50p entrance fee.

I got given a leaflet by Vegan Organic Network, which is having a garden party sunday 22nd July 1 -5.30pm at chorlton, Manchester, which sounded good too. Will probably go to that.

I couldn't make it:(, it would also have cost £14 on the train and I need the money for food until I get paid next week.

Bit upset I missed it but I am going to make it a priority next year

It would have cost you more than 14 quid firestorm. Most of the food was not free and you could have easily spent another 10 quid on cake :P I paid 5.40 for my train fare and another 4.50 on food and I'm only 16miles away.

P.S. I'd start saving those pound coins (gold coins would be better) now for next years fair if the government keeps passing go and bailing it self out.
