Wow, they call it 'the healthy eating guide' now?

I dislike that.

Me too. It's also misleading as lots of those cafes and restaurants aren't healthy, they sell vegan junk food.

Thanks, DVP! Very handy. It's interesting to compare the number of places listed between cities. I agree the name's a bit silly, but I hadn't seen this guide before, & I'm pleased to find it.

Yes Egesa it is good. It's very popular in the UK, I use it all the time when travelling. They have an app now as well which I think will let you know all the vegetarian places nearby.

Thank you, MD, I just downloaded it. Lots of wrong apps were listed in search results for "Healthy Eating Guide", but I found it with the name "Happy Cow VeginOut".

I think it's still called Happy Cow isn't it? "The healthy eating guide" seems to be a sort of strapline. I agree it's not a particularly appropriate one although everything is relative I suppose!

I use their Android app a lot when travelling in mainland Europe and North America as well - the ability to list places in order of distance from (e.g.) your hotel is very useful.
