That would be great Tails, it's not too far from me but I don't have a car - so I would need to persuade someone who did to come with me - so a good review could be just the ticket to help persuade them :)

Went here today, lovely people, place is in its infancy. They are expanding it next year. Presently they have a small cafe with vegan choice (not much today as awaiting an order). We had lovely veg soup and bread followed by flapjack with seeds (homemade). They sell vegan goods and food. Plenty of leaflets about local eco, issues. W had atour round the grounds and saw wher they grow their own veg,.
They do courses at different times such as baby massage, Tai Chi, art class.

Some news....

'Just a quick update on the eco-lottery.

Unbelievably the lottery has raised nearly one thousand pounds so far!

We have been in discussions with a Doncaster based installer of solar hot water and will soon have enough funds to supply most of the hot water needs of the shop and café direct from the sun!!

Now the Eco-Fest is over we will soon be installing the recycled cinema seats into the converted stable and transform it into an information centre. The stable and it’s installation were funded by a donation from vxii theatre company, a company that specialises in using theatre to educate young people on issues such as bullying, racism, alcohol abuse, drugs etc. http://www.vxii.org

Inside the information centre there will be a film about the planet, global warming and where Fieldgate and the rest of us fit in. there will also be information on all things eco.

Thanks to vxii theatre company for this generous donation.

ECO-LOTTERY WEBSITE

The new website explaining all about the lottery has just been launched. You can also join online now too and it only takes a few minutes!!

If you aren’t already a member please consider joining as this really helps the long term development and sustainability of the centre. As with everything to do with Fieldgate, the lottery is ‘not for profit’ and the only people who benefit are the winners each month and the centre as it develops it’s environmental vision.

Also please forward this on to people who you think would be interested in the work we do.

If you are already a member please try to sign up another person or forward this to people who you think may help and support us.

The website is http://www.eco-lottery.co.uk

Thanks for everyone's continued support.

Kind Regards

David'
