Do you work nightshifts, jamboxrock?
Yep, twice a week. I work shorter shifts (4-6 hours) every weekday, then two eight hour night shifts on top of that. During day shifts I can usually sneak home to eat lunch, but I have to take dinner with me when I work at night. Hence the occasional frozen meals :)
Yesterday...
breakfast: vanilla soy yogurt topped with hearty morning cereal & black berries, green tea
snack: pear
lunch: cheesy bean enchiladas w/ guacamole, sauteed spinach & squash w/ garlic
dinner: grape leaves over rice w/ tahini, tabouleh, pita w/ hummus, a couple of bf's french fries
after: beers

Ahhhhh ok thanks. I was just wondering, because I am going back to doing a couple of night shifts each week. What kind of work do you do?
We have a microwave at work, but I'm not going to be wanting to use it. It's really festy - people don't cover their food when they cook in it, and hence there's all types of baked on sauces and meat and fish all over the inside of it. GROSS!!
I'm thinking of making myself up some salads etc before going to work and putting them in the fridge and nipping home on my break to eat. Or if I want a frozen meal, at least I can heat it up in MY nice clean microwave lol.
