reading how everyone else actually eats three balanced meals with snacks in between makes me feel so much better about myself right now. i live with this guy roommate who never eats! whenever he comes in i'm always cooking something and i think to myself, "geez, he must think i'm the fattest fatty mcfatfat there is."

Hahaha, I feel the same way! Every time my roommate comes home I'm either in the kitchen or at the table eating.

yesterday...

breakfast: hearty morning cereal w/ soymilk & raspberries, coffee w/ f.v. soy creamer

snack: diet dr. pepper, an apple

lunch: chunky veggie soup, peanut butter & strawberry jam sandwich on wheat toast, chocolate soymilk

snack: baby carrots w/ goddess dressing

dinner: salad (greens & cherry tomatoes w/ Italian dressing), chicken & broccoli linguine alfredo, dark chocolate w/ almonds

out: a couple beers

tofu scramble w/ hash browns, bacuns, onions, mushrooms, spinach, soy cheddar, nutritional yeast
english breakfast tea

"turkey" slices w/ soy mozzarella on flax bread w/ romaine, vegenaise, dijonaise
bbq soycrisps
english breakfast tea
3 chocolate chip cookies

2 cups tension tamer tea
boca burger w/ gravy
roasted red potatoes w/ rosemary
sweet potato w/ earth balance & braggs

2 cups english breakfast tea
slice chocolate almond ice cream cake

Breakfast: oatmeal with maple syrup, sunflower seeds and raisins mixed in

Lunch: leftover red lentil soup with a whole wheat bun. Apple crumble for dessert

Supper: Amy's California burger with vegenaise, ketchup, mustard and pickles.

Snack: roasted pumpkin seeds (I roasted them myself, so they were nice and warm, yum!)

breakfast: two multigrain waffles w/ syrup, oj, coffee w/ f.v. soy creamer

lunch: sandwich (hummus, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, sprouts & shredded carrot on pita), small bit of garden pasta salad, cajun dill kettle chips

snack: almonds, fruit salad (a couple bites of like eight fruits), coffee. black because I forgot my creamer, and it was gross.

dinner: fifteen bean & collard greens soup, cornbread

now: sleepytime tea

Today:


1 cup of Blue Lagoon tea.
1 bowl of cornflakes with strawberries and vanilla soy milk.



1/2 cup of baked beans.
1 toasted multigrain breadroll with Earthbalance.



1 cup of coffee with Silk creamer.
2 sandwich cream cookies.



1 Yves Veggie Lasagne Bowl.
A few baked potato chips on the side.



1 cup of chocolate spice tea.
2 pieces of sunflower & barley bread topped with mashed avocado and salt & pepper.
4 mini oatmeal cookies.

What is sunflower and barley bread Roxy? Did you buy it or make it? It sounds delicious!

I bought it Yoggy. I would love to be able to make something like that but I don't have a breadmaker. I should buy one, one of these days.....along with an icecream maker!

tofu scramble with mushrooms, peas + red pepper
toasted wholewheat bread

chocolate biscuit
3 carrots dipped in balsamic vinegar

spicy roast potatoes with roasted veg (tomatoes, courgettes, red pepper, mushrooms, aubergine)
2 pieces of marzipan-filled chocolate

crap so far today, venti soya latte from starbucks, flapjack, toasted bagel with tofutti (that i sneaked into starbucks lol)

having dinner at the lovely grassroots in glasgow tonight though, cant wait!

yesterday:

1 organic pear
1 small organic cucumber
1 cup organic juice with 2/3 juice, 1/3 water.
tea made from eucalyptusleaves, raspberry leaves and nettle leaves.

2 pieces of organic amaranth ryvita with home made hummous.
2 big organic carrots, sliced and eating with hummous.

2 cups of hot ricemilk chocolate, made with the Green & Blacks organics cocoa.

2 more amaranth ryvitas with hummous.

pastasalad made with pasta penne, steamed organic asparagus, raw organic tomato, balsamic roasted organic mushrooms, home made organic pesto, sun dried tomatoes, drizzeled with nutritional yeast and some salt and pepper. YUMMIE.

one piece of 80% dark chocolate.

some leftover pasta salad.


a pretty healthy day.
my plan of upping my intake of organic foods are going really well.

Breakfast: strawberry shredded wheat with soymilk

Snacks: 1 banana, 1 cup of raisins, 16 oz fresh squeezed orange juice

Lunch: flax bagel with tofutti cream cheese

Supper: red lentil soup with a baked potato and tofutti sour cream

Dessert: bowl of strawberries dipped in agave nectar.

canned lentil soup with other veggies
4-5 bites of bread
handful of chocolate chips

organic salad (all kinds of mixed greens, tomato, 1/2 avocado, 1/2 green bell pepper, scallion, nutritional yeast, ground flax seeds, salt, olive oil, balsamic vinegar)
some bread with Earth balance
small piece of a vegan brownie with chocolate fudge and peanut butter mousse

cup of rosehip-hibiscus tea

i'm now getting ready to have a banana and another orange to finish off my day

1 organic amaranth ryvita with sunflower seed spread
a smoothie (banana, strawberry, oragnejuice)
1 organic pear
two falafels in pita bread
some fries.

very junk-foody day.

Porridge with oat milk, water and agave. And a few frzoen blueberries thrwon in too.

WW penne with red lentil and tomato pasta sauce

Bread and marmalade pudding with oat cream (bit sickly :( )

Few peanuts

For dinner probably salad, pitta, nut roast, maybe some wedges

Water throughout the day

2 bowls organic pasta w/ broccoli, baby portobellos, and spicy nut sauce

2 cups english breakfast tea
4 pain au chocolat (bite sized)

lunch: salad (greens, baby carrots, goddess dressing), two tofu burger patties w/ bbq sauce, an orange

snack: nori rice cake w/ pb

dinner was all things grilled: asparagus, marinated mushrooms, new potatoes w/ rosemary & garlic, a tofurkey italian sausage split in half on two wheat hot dog buns w/ green peppers & onions

and: beer

mid-morning snack: bowl of sliced bananas with soymilk and sugar

Lunch: 3 beef style vegan taquitos

Snack: Peanut butter Clif Bar

Supper: whole wheat spiral pasta with organic tomato sauce and a toasted whole wheat garlic bun

1 cup of Blue Lagoon tea.

1 x 6 inch Subway veggie delight on Italian (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, pickles, green pepper, olives, sweet onion sauce).
1 small bag of potato chips.



1 strawberry soy yoghurt.



1 bowl of Tuscan bean and basil soup.
2 slices of barley & sunflower bread, toasted with Earthbalance.



1 cup of chocolate spice tea.
4 sandwich cream cookies.
4 mini oatmeal cookies.

yesterday i was at a restaurant, where i got this amazing spinach/potato curry with white basmati rice. it was sooo good. anyone has a good recipe?

yesterday...

lunch: two plates of salad (iceberg mix, spinach, shredded carrot, broccoli, green pepper, mushrooms, chickpeas, french dressing), seven small wheat rolls w/ marinara, diet dr. pepper

snack: applesauce, dried cranberries

dinner: chips & salsa, burrito w/ grilled onions, peppers & mushrooms, lettuce & tomato, mexican rice, refried beans, beer (felt incredibly bloated after...)

B: 2 slices wholemeal toast with peanut butter and jam. A Cherry Pie Lara Bar.

L: Toasted Thai coconuty vegetable wrap thingie (very nice) from Juicy Lucy at Manchester Airport.

S: Apple and banana.

D: So far, chocolate :o Can't decide what to make in the way of real food... :rolleyes:

spinach/potato curry, with jasmine rice.
a cup of organic mandarin/orange/spice tea.

and a 36 calorie ice pop.
