- Dish I made of chickpeas, canned tomatoes, onions, blackeyed peas, bulgur wheat, and coconut milk.

- tried to eat some of that dish again later, but added a ton of raw carrot shreds because I'm trying to get in some raw veggies everyday. ICK! I didn't like it. I'm just not a raw-carrot-person, too gingery for me.

- 3 cookies

I'm going to work the nightshift for the first time tonight, and I'm really excited! For my lunch, which will probably be eaten at 2 or 3 in the morning, I made a wrap. It is lettuce, cherry tomatos, and hummus in a whole wheat wrap. I'm excited to eat it.

breakfast: peanut butter puffins w/ blueberries & vanilla rice milk, green tea

snack: half a peach

lunch: burrito (refried beans, salsa, guacamole, romaine)

snack: banana, cherries, coffee w/ f.v. soy creamer

dinner: I took a healthy frozen meal to work for dinner (trying to limit calories), but then I started reading about food and developed an immediate need for potatoes. so I had: french fries w/ ketchup, falafel & hummus in pita w/ lettuce, tomato, pickle, tahini & parsley. grrrrrr.

before bed I'll have either sleepytime tea or a glass of red wine. I mean, the bottle is already open, I have to drink it eventually.

Today:

2 cups of coffee with Silk creamer.
2 slices of sourdough toast with Earthbalance and organic raspberry preserves.

1 Cinnamon Roll Larabar.

1 can of Guru natural energy drink.
A few pieces of chocolate.

1/2 cup spicy Cajun mix (mixed rice crackers & nuts in spices).

2 Vietnamese fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce.
10 Veggie "ham" balls with sweet chilli sauce.
Glass of wine.

Might have another glass of wine and a piece of Mexican chocolate cake, a bit later on.

tomato salad with pita bread and tapenade

mac'n (no) cheeze by my fave American vegan ever

2 huge bowls corn salad with baby carrots, spinach and herbs

1 bowl curried spinach + potatoes

lots of tea...

cranberry, nut + chocolate muffin

wholegrain roll, yeast extract + tomato slices

So far:
2 nectarines,
1 banana
3 packets of crisps:o
Lentil soup made with 3 carrots and orange pepper and three bread rolls.
Veg finger things from Sainsburys with salad.
Bagel with vegan mayo, marmite and cucumber.
Some hard sweets.

Christ I had a C.R.A.P day today :o :o :o

bowl of cereal and soya milk
cake mixture
pasta with vegemince
some strawberries
about 500 hundred chocolate chip cakes :mad:
a handful of chips from chip shop (nicked off someone else)

wow isn't my vegan lifestyle healthy :eek:

Hehe, I've noticed that I frequently seem to post my day after you - pure coincidence though, I'm not a stalker ;) Would you know me from a German-speaking forum? I thought that I possibly know you under a different name, guessing from you profile.

waaaaaay too much Chinese food :D

apple and cherry juice
lots of water during the day

today was a bit better:

coffee with soya milk
raisin wheats cereal with rice milk

Bugsy sandwich (carrot, alfalfa and houmous)
fruit salad (apple, mango, strawberry, melon)

nachos - tortilla chips, veggie chilli, guacamole, plain soya yogurt, grated vegan cheese on top :)

fresh cherries

lots of water during the day

big salad with sliced vegan "chicken" pieces
an apple
cereal and milk
will make a peanutbutter wok with rice later i think

we're completely broke until the first... I mean $1.50 in my checking acct and 6 something in savings. So depressing. so, meals are creative for the next few days. made a big pot of barley and lentil soup last night from the bulk foods we buy for the dogs. Had a bowl of that for breakfast this morning. Looks like peanut butter on a tortilla for lunch. and I saw a can of condensed tomato soup in the cupboard that I'll probably make a bit later as well. not a fan of of the high fructose corn syrup thats inevitably in it, but what can ya do? thanks for the vent. sorry about the sunshine... and sarcasm.

breakfast: oatmeal w/ blueberries & cinnamon, coffee w/ f.v. soy creamer

lunch: a couple crackers, frozen meal (seven grain pilaf, black beans, peppers, onions, mango & mango sauce), a pear, diet coke

snack: apricot sorbet, spoonful of pb

dinner: burrito (refried beans, guacamole, salsa, romaine), dry peanut butter puffins, half glass red wine

Hmm lots of yummy food, I've just eaten but you make me hungry!!

Today I had... the only thing worth mentioning is the best vegan cheese cake ever, I'll post the recipe once I've tried making it myself so I know how difficult it is. A vegan friends mum made it and told her to bring a little bit to work for me, it was heaven :D

Of course Puffin is vegan, she couldn't post otherwise :D Joking- what are puffins (the edible variety)?

today:

small bowl mie noodle soup with scallions

handfull dates

1 banana
1 pear

pasta with spinach pesto

too many slices "red and spicy" vegeroni from an online store

I guess I'll have some more soup with springrolls and maybe some steamed broccoli later...

awww, thank you :D

yesterday my bf got a tip at work so we had tofu scramble for breakfast with texican frozen veggies. yum.

probably more soup for lunch and dinner.

(get pd tomorrow tho)
