today:

snack:
-bit of popcorn, couldnt finish it though. appetite sucks
-lime juice
-cup chocolate soy milk
dinner:
-i plan on having mac n cheese and a side of broccolli.

are you supposed to put butter and what not on cooked broccolli or is it just supposed to be steamed? i havent had broccolli as a side dish since my mom did and that was a long time ago.

Tina, I think it's up to personal preference. Sometimes I like it plain steamed, but sometimes I like to dress it up. I try to keep the fat and calories down, so I might use veg parmesan or just lemon juice, which is surprisingly good. I also find that some broccoli just doesn't have the flavor to cut it plain.

breakfast: wheat bagel w/ better than cream cheese, coffee w/ f.v. soy creamer

lunch: three small pieces multigrain bread w/ hummus, baby greens & mini cucumber slices, red grapes

what I thought was going to be a snack turned out to be dinner: guacamole mixed with a shredded carrot, spread on a wheat flatbread and topped with baby greens

dessert: banana w/ almond butter, and right now drinking hot minty chocolate rice milk (soooooo good)

then I'm going out and surely will have some beers.

2 Bananas
1/2 bar of cherry chocolate
2 burger buns with soya spread and marmite
2 packets of crisps
Handful of nuts and raisins
5 cups of green tea

Then I cooked brown rice, greens, sweetcorn and carrots (and stirred tablespoon of flaxseeds in at end.)
I stir-fried a red chilli pepper in oil and added soya sauce and tomato ketchup as a sauce for it.
It was absolutely yummy and I now feel quite saintly.:)

Banana and green tea
Organic baked beans on 2 wholemeal toast

3 packets of crisps:(

Same stir fry as yesterday: red pepper, sweetcorn, carrot, greens, red chilli pepper with brown rice and flaxseeds

Chocolate bar.

I seriously need to replace crisps with something healthier, if I buy crackers I eat loads of them as well and they probably aren't any better - maybe lower fat I suppose.
Maybe I could make those root veg crisps in oven? But they are not convenient.
Is there anything similar to crisps but healthy?
