Breakfast:
Bowl of cereal with soy milk

Morning snack:
Cup of coffee

Lunch:
Pickled mini eggplant with tomatoes (and olive oil)
Whole wheat bread that's similar to pita bread but much thinner (like paper-thin)
15 or so green olives

Supper (at a restaurant with the family):
Large salad with romaine lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion, radish, broccoli, green pepper, carrot, Italian dressing
Random salad bar items (just a little bit of each); pasta salad, chips and salsa, hummus and pita, corn salad, chow (Canadian thing?)
2 fresh rolls
Glass of pop

Late night munchies:
Pita bread with olive oil and zatar
2 pickled mini eggplant
Pistachios
Cup of tea

Good good, but too much bread. My stomach will kill me in the morning. :(

I've never heard of it...:) what is it?

It's like a bunch of pickled vegetables all mixed together. Cucumber, green tomatoes and cauliflower mainly with spices and it's all yellow.

Here's a recipe: http://southernfood.about.com/od/picklesrelishes/r/bl90718d.htm

I'm Canadian and I never heard of chow either! Sounds good though!

So I'm just back from the potluck, here's what I had:

tofurkey (wasn't so good, but the stuffing inside of it was great!)
mashed potatoes (2 types: plain and garlic/chive)
stuffing
some sort of rice and sunflower seed dish
fried dumpling
sesame tofu
nut roast
cashew gravy (awesome!!!)
fruit crumble
slice of blueberry tofutti cheesecake (that's what I brought :))

And I have LOTS of leftover cheesecake! Yesssss :D

anybody know anything I can do with pumpkin? (from a can)

For awhile I was into pumpkin shakes. I mixed soymilk with pumpkin and a sweetener in the blender, and it was good. It was better without ice, because it was smoother. I think that might be good with a little vanilla ice cream too, mixed into the blender. Probably very frothy. :p

Hi everyone!
I'm fairly new here...sometimes just stop by to read everyone's menus and get some ideas. I decided that I really want to work on incorporating more fruits/veggies into my diet and keep it as balanced as possible, so I'm going to include some of my daily menus here if no one minds :) Look forward to seeing what yummy treats everyone has to eat.
