(buddhas bowl was delicious... supposed to be rice instead of potatoes, but restaurant rice makes me nervous)

today:
bowl of blueberry pecan crunch ceral with soy milk
coffee with soymilk
pinto bean salad on ww bread
some cherries
veggie fajitas, tortillas, beans, guac, salsa and chips.
2 pina coladas.
sooo full.

D: Stir fry Organic Vegetables & Noodles w/Organic Pumpkin Seeds
Raw Chocolate (which I got in a sample bag at the Vegan Fair on weekend)

Chickpeas sound okay I suppose - maybe breadsticks never thought of that.

I do get salt cravings a lot actually - I started to eat lots of ready salted crisps since I became vegetarian when I was 17. But I do eat marmite which is very salty I think - I might look up salt cravings on net.

Hi Aphrodite ... like you I love anything salty ... salty snack foods, crackers, marmite/vegemite, olives .... I suffer from Addisons Disease and salt craving is one of the symptoms. Only 1 in 100,000 people have it though so unlikely you would have it but may be worth checking. As for alternative to crisps .. mmm..... pretzels? Salty but lower in fat ... not quite the same though eh?!!

Today:

2 cups of coffee with Silk creamer.
2 pieces organic wholewheat toast with Earthbalance & blackberry jam.

1 bowl Acai granola with vanilla soy milk & topped with fresh, organic raspberries.

1 soft pretzel.

1 vanilla soy latte.

Sandwich: organic wholewheat bread (toasted), Earthbalance, ketchup, Yves veggie burger.
Organic Salad: mixed leaves, peach, avocado, red onion, crutons, cranberry vinaigrette.

1 piece vegan chocolate banana cake.

Few natural potato chips.

Few pieces of hard candy.

B: cereal - 3/4c. Oat Os w. 3/4c.spelt flakes w. ff vanilla soymilk
dark chocolate calcium tablet
L: apple
D: went out with one of my friends and her friend from college after work - there werent many options..
bread - probably 4 or 5 mini slices
side of spinach
broccoli
edamame
random assortment - they were like its so green! haha but it was good!

Today:

B: cereal - 3/4c Oat Os w. 3/4c. spelt flakes w. ff vanilla soymilk
L: banana
S: 2 tortillas w. banana and cashew nut butter
D: going out again! this time for my friends 21st birthday
either spinach salad w. low cal rasp. vin. or 'vegan wrap'
w. fruit and a pickle.
a drink or two :)
(most likely only one bc im taking the GRE early tomorrow morning!)

yesterday...

breakfast: almond butter & banana sandwich on wheat toast, oj

lunch: salad (iceberg, tomato, onion, green pepper, pickles, alfalfa sprouts, olive oil dressing w/ herbs), pita & hummus, coffee w/ f.v. soy creamer

snack: two peaches

dinner: jerk tofu (holy crap was it ever spicy), rice & peas, cabbage, festivals (fried sweet corn fritter-type things)

good luck with your test!

Today I'm still bloated from yesterday. Could not seem to stop snacking all night. After dinner I had a bunch of handfuls of cashew crunch, a bunch of handfuls of spicy sesame snack mix. a bunch of handfuls of pita chips and hummus. oh man...

today:
POT of coffee with soymilk
tofu scramble with orange and green bell pepper and onion.

i'm working from 1pm today til 7am tomorrow so I have to pack lunch...

looks like Peanut butter on whole grain bread and couple baby carrots for lunch. coupla veggie burger patties, an everything bagel and some frozen broccoli for dinner.

ha last night i had a dream i ate my brothers party bag (flake and mini chocolate buttons) and woke up not sure if i had gone mad during the night and stopped being vegan fo a flake. however apon checking my brothers room i found both flake and buttons intact *phew*
today i have felt quite nausous, perhaps i am imaginary lactose intolerant. mmmh.
b - strawberrys and lots of carrots
l - tomatos, red pepper, cucumber, chili sauce, courgette, snap green bean.

Woodsie - I don't really like pretzels that much I think they have a weird aftertaste - thanks anyway. I have been eating olives they have salt but they must be healthier than crisps? I hope.

BREAKFAST:

Corn Flakes and Unsweetened soya milk
Bottle of water 500ml
LUNCH:

Green lentil Dahl with breaded mushrooms, roast potatos and a small salad of leaves and cucumber
Bottle of Water 500ml
DINNER:

I haven't had it yet but it will be from the amazing recipe thread....The braised tofu and creamy mushroom pasta...with a salad of course lol.

breakfast: wheat bagel w/ better than cream cheese, half a banana on the verge of death. I wanted to have cereal but my roommate used the last of my ricemilk without asking. grrrrr.

lunch: channa masala & creamed spinach over whole wheat couscous. I used cats pajamas' recipe and it was great! thanks.

snack: banana & mango smoothie, coffee w/ f.v. soy creamer

dinner: no chicken noodle soup, veggie pot pie pocket sandwich

snack: tortilla chips that my coworker left behind. tortilla chips are not safe around me. and I'll have sleepytime tea before bed.

Organic Salad: mixed leaves, cucumber, red onion, avocado, tomato, crutons, faux "chicken" pieces in a zesty lemon rub, cranberry dressing.
1 cup raspberry lemonade.

1 piece vegan chocolate banana cake.

Small bowl of natural potato chips.

LUNCH:

Mexian Bean wraps
LArge salad
Fruit salad
Bottle of Water 500ml.

DINNER:

Roasted peppers, mushrooms, tomatos and onion with iceberg lettuce, mango chutney and toffuti sour cream in a tortilla wrap.

A glass of fruit juice

SNACK:

10 strawberries in natural soya yoghurt
A handful of grapes.

(Mmm really feeling the wraps today. Think it's almost time for fajihtas again hehe :D)

Breakfast - None
Lunch - Ciabatta bread with olive oil and garlic, with salad (tomatoes, onion, carrot, lettuce, cucumber)
Dinner - Chips -hides- I was craving them =P

Just had a hot chocolate (Alpro organic soya, green and blacks cocoa and some unrefined sugar) =]

Diet Coke and water throughout the day =D

Mmmm..vodka lime and soda.. Rgghghghghhhhhhhh :p

my tedious days eatin'...

2 bits of w/meal toast with strawberry fruity spread with teh merest scrapation of almond butter
choc tea..

3 measly ginger biscuits and a cup of jasmine tea..

a jacket spud with hummous and chilli sauce..bit of cucumber and one slither of tomato (on rations apparently :rolleyes:)

rather large bowl of glop: boil parsnip, sweet potato, onions and carrots in a pan of water with some barley lentil soup mix stuff..and a stock cube then let it sit to 'congeal' for half an hour. winter food!

no space in my rotund gut now after that glop feast :D

1/2 raw red bell pepper stuffed w avocado, hummus and tomato slices
peanut butter sandwich

I marinated tomato slices in olive oil with fresh basil, crushed garlic and chopped onion to put on cornmeal pizza crusts with follow your heart cheese for dinner tonight... my mouth is watering thinking about it.

snacks (all at different times): a couple french fries, a banana, pickle spears, green tea

dinner: shiitake summer rolls w/ chili sauce, princess roll (cucumber, avocado, sushi rice & shizo wrapped in daikon), frou frou cocktail

out: two beers, then sourdough pretzels when I got home. long day...

today so far:

Japanese breakfast made by a Japanese lady- rice and assorted veggies wrapped in small nori sheets (sort of sushi for the lazy) with tamari and shiso spice

1/2 orange

smoothie with of 1/2 mango and 1/2 peach

1 pita bread stuffed with roast chickpea salad, tomatoes and cucumber

2 whole wheat chocolate muffins

bowl of rice with tomatoes, salt + pepper (hot + lazy afterwork food)

I'll probably fry up some leftover rice with veggies for my common late dinner
