Breakfast : Orgran fruit and almond Muesli with rice milk

Late lunch: Grilled left-over nut roast, fried potatoes, fried mushrooms, fried bread, tinned tomatoes and baked beans. Washing it all down with black coffee.

Not sure what I'll have for dinner yet, roast stuff and boiled green things probably.

I drain off most of the liquid, break it apart a little, and bake it in the oven for about 20 minutes until the top edges dry out. Perhaps it's not exactly crispy, but it's good all the same.

I did mock duck a couple of days ago (just like that but with a teeny bit of vegetable oil and some sweet chilli sauce) and it went way TOO crispy! I hadn't realised the oven was on 220 degrees! Oops. Still very nice but some of it has welded itself to the dish!

Today I ate:

Summer fruits alpro yoghurt
Roasted vegetable pasta with asparagus
Melon
A raspberry ruffle :o
Sorbet

And we're going to my mum's for dinner so we'll probably either get lentil/chickpea curry or one of her sosmix creations :D

breakfast: two white nectarines, grits w/ rice milk & eb, coffee w/ f.v. soy creamer

lunch: sloppy lentils w/ kale, garlic herb focaccia bread, more coffee

snack: banana, spoonful of pb, taste tests of two cupcake batters

dinner was at melting pot, a fondue restaurant. two friends wanted to have their birthday dinner there, and a friend who works there assured me I could eat there so I gave it a shot, and it was great! first course (normally cheese fondue) I had pieces of green apple, celery, carrot & cauliflower. salad course was mixed greens, tomato & walnuts w/ black walnut vinaigrette. third course was asparagus, potato, squash, broccoli, portobello, red peppers, tofu & artichoke hearts cooked in a spicy broth. dessert (normally chocolate fondue - none of their chocolates checked out) was strawberries, pineapple & banana pieces. And lots of red wine.

Jamboxrock, your dinner sounds incredible. I'm going to have to make that meal soon. It's a meal that my mom will actually eat (unlike most of my food), so I'll treat her to dinner with that :)

B: Oatmeal (finally switched over from instant oatmeal to the real kind) with blueberries, glass of light silk, coffee with silk.

S: Apple.

L: Sauteed salsa, tomatoes, red peppers, mushrooms, red onion, and grilled "chicken" strips in a fresh-baked pita with lettuce. Also had soymilk.
