B : Cereal with rice milk and strawberries.
S : Banana
S2 : Oat cakes with peanut butter
L : Salad (new potatoes, mushrooms, red onion, tomato, assorted leaves and carrot in tarragon and lemon dressing). Packet of crisps
S : Vanilla soy desert.
D : Veggie-mince "shepherd's" pie topped with a mix of mashed white and sweet potato. Big pile of lovely broccoli.

Lots of coffee throughout the day.

breakfast: honeydew, banana nut muffin w/ eb

lunch: broccoli w/ garlic sauce & steamed rice, coffee w/ soy creamer

snack: apple w/ almond butter

dinner: cream of broccoli soup, mashed potatoes, oj

snack: two prunes, red safari spice tea that I steeped too long. it is very red and very spicy.

a couple of beers (local ipa, yummmmmie!)
quinoa pasta with a soyrizo & portobella marinara sauce:D

-vega in oj w/ calcium

- pumpkin soup & 2 slices of bread
- 4 corn thins
-brown rice, potatoes & purple sprouting broccoli (looks like broccolini but it is purple? I found it at the supermarket)

4 tortilla wraps with lettuce, tomato, sweetcorn, red pepper, salsa

2 glasses chocolate soya milk:)

Yesteray:

1 cup of coffee with light vanilla soy milk.

2 pieces organic wholewheat toast with Earthbalance & agave nectar.

1 diet pop.

A few pieces of chocolate.

1 veggie delite sub on Italian, with sweet onion sauce.
1 small bag of Miss Vickies chips.

1 piece of soft candy.

1 bowl of organic butternut squash soup.
2 pieces organic wholewheat toast with Earthbalance.
1 glass organic raspberry lemonade.

1 whole bag of microwave popcorn.

3 pieces of dark mint chocolate.

Lunch: Rather large salad with a lot of spinach, tomatoes and peppers.

Dinner: Fruit salad.

Drinks: A carton of orange juice

I normally eat more, just feeling a bit icky today after too much drink last night!

it all started off quite well with strawberries and apple salad..then i realised i had raging pmt and by 1pm i was clawing at the door of the chippy.

later i ate two cheezly and red onion toasties. yeah..two.

then leftover winter glop and raspberries, warm flapjack and cold custard. in massive quantities. :eek: :(

i've drank loads of water to stave off even more carby cravings..grrr.

- bowl of oat crisp and exotic fruit muesli with soy milk
- fussili with walnut/almond/oregano/basil/nutrional yeast pesto (aka put whatever into a blender and let's see what'll come out)
- broccoli piccata
- 2 sparkled ginger cookies
- 2 rolls with pepitas, tomato mustard and fresh tomatoes
- a fig

-2 glasses of rosé wine

I'll probably drink the rest of the day away.


actually we're also having veggie dogs later, I was just informed. and grape soda.

like half :eek: of a loaf of fresh, roasted garlic bread. (not like garlic bread, but like roasted garlic in the bread)...its addicting:o
oh, and i had a glass of soymilk early early this morning to try and help me sleep...

(im going to start being a regular poster here... cause i have to start keeping track of what i eat. i was put on a medication to hopefully help with my sleep/wake cycle that got f'ed up from years of drug use... i hate to take medication, but am getting a bit desperate after exhausting all of the naturopaths' adviced, two sleep studies, and it starting to interfere with work... anyway, so the medication can make me loose my apitite... so im supposed to record everything i eat. its probably a good idea too, cause im def. not getting as much nutrients as i have been!)

Sorry to hear about your sleeping disorder jj :( If it helps any, I have trouble sleeping and I believe it's a culmination of shift work and drug use in the past. I hope your new medication helps. :) I was using valerian, but have since found that liquid melatonin (synthetic version - completely vegan) helps a lot better. The valerian was good, but the melatonin is better.

Anyway, it's been my "cheat" day today and I've had all sorts of goodies including curried chickpeas, curried veggies, nan bread, cookies and micro-brewed cream soda! :D

That brewery looks pretty cool, JJ. My boyfriend is from CA and loves microbrews, he'd be into it. Seems San Luis Obispo is closer to LA than the bay area though...

snack: red grapes, corn chips, coffee w/ soy creamer

somehow valerian didnt help me one bit in the years and different forms that i tried it.

i just keep telling me doctors that im a vampire. im not meant to be up during the day...:p

takes me three hours to get to la
and three and a quarter to get to oakland

it is a nice brewery :)

today:

dinner:
-organic herb salad w/ extra dill and italian dressing
-3 veggie hotdogs (no buns, just the wieners)
-potato salad
-cup of soy milk
-cup of vega in oj w/ calcium
snack:
-handful of chips

the soy milk and vega were spaced out it wasnt really with the dinner but i consider it all dinner anyways.

Wholemeal bread with cheatn beef slices and soya butter dipped in ketchup

Glass of OJ

LUNCH:

Oven chips, baked beans and a linda mccartney pie.

Pint of water

DINNER:

Can of spicey rigatoni pasta (tesco)

Pint of water

(Had a crappy eating day cuz I felt like it ok?)

Breakfast: Millet porridge with cinnamon and brown sugar + pink grapefruit juice

Lunch: Double espresso, dark chocolate and a pear

Dinner: Chickpea and sweet potato curry (recipe found on the board :))

Dessert: Mango and red grapes

fruit for breakfast..bananas, clementines, strawberries

carrots..cucumber..hummous..bit of bread for lunch

pasta with tomatoes and peppers and smattering of cheezly

some aubergine dip stuff and a bit of toast

i totally resisted the pmt chips and the pmt flapjack that was calling out to me loudly. :cool:

LOL but I am sure I exceed the 30% fat allowance ;):D

Today I ate crap because that's all I have in the apartment until I go shopping tomorrow:

2 cups of coffee with light vanilla soy milk.

4 pieces of organic sprouted grain toast with Earthbalance and agave nectar.

What was left in the bag of pico de gallo rice chips.

A handful of plain salted kettle chips.

2 mini choc chip cookies.

1 Guiltless Gourmet 4 bean chilli wrap with organic ketchup.

Probably have a single serve pineapple pie with soy cream and a cup of chamomile tea later.
