good for you witchy. i know how difficult it is to eat healthily when you cant have any gluten. ugh. it gets annoying after a while. be careful with your protein too. you probably need to watch it like i do, because our villi in our intestines are shit and we get deficient in a lot of things really easily. by the way, you should try roasted chickpeas. (look at my thread in the vegan food section titled roasted chickpeas) cause i love crisps too and roasted chickpeas are similar to chips and satisfy your craving for a crunchy salty snack like chips, but theyre high in protein and are really good for you! (i find soy milk a really easy way to up my protein intake) i think we like crisps because we cant have anything with gluten, like starches like bread etc. well i think thats why i crave crisps/chips anyways.

between 8:50am and 9:10am I ate:

-Three bowls each with ~2.333 servings of raisin bran each with 1.5 cups of soymilk. (for a total of approximately 7 servings)
-Three Quarters of a cup of vegan vanilla yogurt
-Two cups leftover pasta
-One and a half pieces of whole wheat toast with Earth Balance spread liberally over it.
-One cup of vegan calcium enriched pulpy Orange Juice
-Three fingerfulls of peanut butter
-3 cups of water

Now I'm ready for a snack.

wow!


veggie burger w bbq sauce on ww bread.
4 shots espresso w vanilla soy milk.
handful greasy potato chips.
raw broccoli salad w shitake sesame dressing.
pan fried tofu w salt n pepper.
garlic toast.

2 nectarines
Lettuce and marmite toasted sandwich

2 bags of Crisps
Potato wedges and ketchup
Crackers/ olives

Chocolate bar

Rose wine.

Yesterday was the poorest day of eating I have had in a long long time. Cuz I have no money I'm just kinda living off of what is left in the cupboards and what is free at work....so forgive me for my sin eating!

BREAKFAST:

3 massive white crusty rolls - one with marmite, one with raspberry and one just with pure spread dipped in ketchup.

bottle of water

LUNCH:

Beans mixed with raw onions and tomatos on a jacket potato with lots of pure spread.

Bottle of water

DINNER:

Wholemeal penne pasta with garlic and tomato sauce and some roast veggies.

Glass of oj

(Why is it when you are poor, you have a massive carb fest?)

Yesterday...

B: Oatmeal with Blueberries, Coffee with soymilk.

S: Granny Smith Apple, Glass of soymilk.

L: Pita with red onion, tomato, spinach, Yves salami slices, garlic hummus.
On the side: raw mushrooms, baby carrots, broccoli and cauliflower.

S: Two mini sesame breadsticks and some grapes.

D: Tofu with brown rice, cauliflower, broccoli, squash. Then a slice of Ezekiel bread toasted with peanut butter.

THENNN I went to Chapters/Starbucks and got a Pumpkin Spice Soy Latte. Incredible.

Today is the vegetarian festival in Toronto!

B: toast with lemon/lime marmalade and bramble preserve; an apple

S: some date syrup, straight out the bottle :o (I'd just bought it and I wanted to see what it was like!)

L: pasta with tahini sauce and brocolli

S: some 70% chocolate; an apple

I'm about to make a date and pecan loaf, and I'll be making Scotch broth for dinner

date and pecan loaf sounds ace..could post the recipe up in the recipe threads bit for us? :)

i've had a big flat mushroom, two bits of toast and a couple of redwood sausages and loads of tomato ketchup :D
cups of nettle tea..lots

bit of date flapjack..v nice
1/2 coconut bar with a bit of chocoreale smeared on it..ta-dah..instant bounty!

rice milk and water

gonna have jacket spuds and ratatouile type tea later..red wine..yumyum

2 packets of crisps

Curry with broccoli, green pepper, carrots - it was gross and I burnt my tongue on it.:(

Nectarines, bananas and white grapes with vanilla SG ice-cream:)

Wholegrain rolls with nuts and seeds on top with hummus for lunch, followed by:

All homemade Thai stir fried rice noodles with marinated tofu and a thai sauce of lime, ginger, soy sauce, tamarind water, spring onions, garlic etc, fantastic:)

Alpro plain organic soy yoghurt with my homemade elderberry jelly on top - elderberries all picked from the local forest.

I'm just about to put a batch of irish soda bread in the oven and then we'd better go and jog for a few hours to work it all off:)

yesterday...

breakfast: smoothie (two bananas, strawberries, kiwi, rice milk), coffee w/ rice milk

lunch: pressed beet & sauerkraut sandwich on wheat toast w/ thousand island, carrot & cucumber sticks, two mini chocolate chip cookies

snack: bits of chocolate cake I trimmed off the one I was decorating for bf's birthday

dinner: chips & salsa, burrito w/ grilled onions, mushrooms & peppers, refried beans, mexican rice, beer

after: more beer & chocolate cake

- 2 slices of toast w/ raspberry jam. apple vanilla white tea.
- black coffee
- 2 dates
- salad roll with tons of avocado in it. vanilla coke
- apple
- 1/2 a banana muffin and 1/2 a chocolate muffin (shared w/ husband)
- 1/2 a veggie burger (couldn't finish it :D) and shared fries with husband

When I left the burger shop I wanted to pop :p I shouldn't have eaten dessert first but the muffins were home baked and too tempting

some thai pasta salad

lots of herbal tea...

couldn't eat much today due to a sore throat T_T

having portabello mushroom (baked with soy sauce, s&p) sandwich for dinner, with spinach, tomato, avocado, and veganaise.

Today:

2 cups of coffee with Silk creamer.

2 pieces of organic sprouted grain toast with Soy Garden spread and organic raspberry jam.

1 organic mango soy yogurt.

1 small piece vegan chocolate banana cake.

Sandwich: organic multigrain bread, Mountain burger patty, Tofutti cheese slice, organic tomato slices, vegan mayo, organic ketchup.
Side Salad: organic mixed leaves, organic red grapes, raspberry viniagrette.

1 cup of organic raspberry lemonade.

1/2 glass wine
1 raspberry jelly & chocolate bar.

About to have a cup of chamomile tea and 4 mini choc chip cookies.

Jam and Peanut butter in a baguette

Bottle of water

LUNCH:

Leftover roasted garlic and onion pasta
Medium side salad
Bottle of water

DINNER:

Spicey morrocan chicpea soup

Apple juice

I ate a lot yesterday, hah.

B: Oatmeal with blueberries, coffee with soymilk.

S: Peanut butter on ezekiel toast, some grapes.

L: Veggie wrap with hummus and tofu, raisin/sesame seed...triangle, some kind of noodles with chili powder and peppers, a bite of my mom's soy 'chicken drumstick', a bite of my mom's veggie roll, a sample of a nutrition bar and a sample of an oatmeal cookie.
(Toronto Vegetarian Food Fair)
[And I bought a cake for my birthday! Blueberry 'cheese'cake, it looks so good! I can't wait to eat it on Wednesday!]

D: Iced pumpkin spice soy latte, baby carrots, two mini sesame sticks, spoonful of peanut butter.

L: soup with tortilla wraps (weird combination, but it worked!)
satsuma, apple, couple of brazil nuts

D: sausage pie made with Redwood sage + marjoram sausages

Breccy was porridge and maple syrup - yum not had that in ages!

Lunch was jacket pot with salad and homemade colslaw with soya yog dressing so low fat

Dinner homemade aduki bean cottage pie, green beans, carrots and brocolli - i was chef today so everyone and jed the dog ate vegan:D

Slice of homemade choc cake with vanilla glace:o

Feeling very full now:rolleyes:
