i'm on a total miso kick at the moment, so yesterday i had miso soup (made with brown rice miso, kale for seaweed and tofu) and a bowl of steamed rice.
i've just been down to the market, so now i'm going to make a quinoa salad with avocado, yellow pepper, cherry tomato, cucumber, spinach and use up the tofu from yesterday, with an olive oil and white wine vinegar dressing :) might puts some seeds in...maybe cumin. mmmm, have made myself hungry now!

hello :)
definately the right forum, possibly the wrong area :)
why not go have a look around the faq/new vegan/not a vegan yet. do some search stuff. erm..
certain foods are obviously vegan..there's a lot of hidden stuff like whey and lactose and some e numbers..label reading is good..

I had a pita with delicious, addictive hummus for breakfast. Oh, and a peppermint tea.
I'm a little under the weather so I've been drinking tea more than eating really. Check out my effective but vile germ-busting tea concoction: ginger tea with two chopped cloves of garlic (which I eat), cayenne pepper, and lemon juice. Keeps germs and vampires away.
Hot and sour ginger soup for lunch.
We're having some kind of pie made of baguette, roasted red pepers, and garlic for dinner plus a salad.
I have to write a cooking column on soup for next weekend so after tonight, there'll be soup every day :p
