yesterday:
breakfast: dry graham cereal, an apple, and coffee with silk creamer & a bit of chocolate almond milk
lunch at a restaraunt that serves Singapore cuisine, they make their own veggie "meats" from tvp! I ordered the "walnut spicy veggie meat" lunch. it started with a salad of lettuce, grape tomato, a slice of kiwi and strawberry, slivered almonds and pine nuts, and some sort of fruit dressing, tasted like mango maybe. second was veggie ham soup - a thick broth with peas, carrots & corn. felt so good on my sore throat. (my mom felt adventurous and ordered the "communist soup", which is beef and potato curry. she said it was really good.) the entree was fried chunks of tvp meat in a sweet & sour sauce w/ peppers, onions, pineapple & candied walnuts. on the side was white rice and steamed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and snow peas). and my mom and I shared a pot of jasmine tea, which was amazing. she said it smelled and tasted like drinking a flower. and they brought the pot out on a stand with a tea candle underneath, so it stayed really hot the whole time. I frickin' love this place. only complaint is that most of the veggies are obviously from frozen...but I don't think that'll stop me from going back :)
dinner of leftover chinese: two spring rolls w/ duck sauce, broccoli in garlic sauce over white rice, and a fortune cookie
too many alcoholic beverages, and a snack of salt and pepper chips

that is a great idea. when I was little I ate those teddy graham cookies like cereal with milk. the chocolate ones would turn into a big bowl of chocolatey mush. so good.

i dont like foods like potatoes and bread that raise my blood sugar so quickly, and then soon after i'm hungry again. But you know, i may add them. I'll soon be anorexic (15lbs away) if i dont change my habits. the thing that makes me unwell is that i crave weightloss. i want to fade away. sad as it sounds.
the good news is that tomorrow i'm seeing an eating disorder specialist and nutritionist to be evaluated. this is the first time i'll get 'serious' help for my eating habits and preoccupation with being skinny. :)
and they'll probably tell me what you told me. which is very good advice btw. ;)
thank you PygmyGoat * hugs *
