i'd kind of heard of candy corn before but had no idea what it was. i still can't really imagine what it tastes like.

yesterday i had:

Coco Pops cereal with rice milk
coffee with soya milk

another cup of coffee with soya milk
packet of chocolate buttons

falafel and tabouleh salad

eta a large glass of raspberry and cranberry smoothie

vegetable curry with rice

lots of water during the day

Me too. I am assuming some people post during the day and have not finished their eating.
Maybe they have not yet eaten their evening meal.
It would be nice to see people's entire day so new vegans would have a better idea of what more experienced vegans are eating.
But the point of this thread is "What did you eat today" not "Post your entire intake for today after you have finished eating". People can post whatever they want to in it.
Some people post yesterday's food so it is a complete day, others include food they plan to eat the rest of the day.
I'm sure you're right, but some posts list "all" the meals and it still doesn't seem like much. But some people do list quite a bit, so I'm not saying everyone eats a small amount...as some people seem to think;)

2 toast with natex and 2 w/m toast with mayo and a tomato
3 glasses of mango and orange smoothie

Crisps and a jam doughnut

Big bowl of h/m red pepper and lentil soup with flaxseeds
4 w/m rolls (they were quite small rolls though:o)

satsuma and apple
more crisps
crumpets and pure
green tea

where do you get your vegan jam doughnuts from? i've been craving* them for aaaages!

a craving occasionally subdued by having a co-op jamfilled iced finger or five.

My friend made them.:D

I have never seen those cakes in Co-op!:mad: I thought I read on here that Tesco jam doughnuts were vegan but I'm not absolutely sure.

they used to be apparently. I remember there being a big barney about it when I used to browse here. grr at tesco.

breakfast:
lemon tea with brown sugar.
salad with tomatoes, onions, cucumber and balsalmic dressing.
fry chips.
sesame pita bread with tofutti cream cheese and grilled veggies
(dont normally eat these kinds of foods for breakfast, but didn't feel like eating the same darn meal there AGAIN)

lunch:
leftovers from breakfast
chai tea with soy milk
cup of chocolate soy milk

dinner:
roasted acorn squash with earth balance, maple syrup and cinnamon sugar.
roasted yams with " " "
cinnamon sugar broiled toast (yum)

I'm working the overnight tonight and a double tomorrow so I'm going to buy food on the way to work tonight for tomorrow.

tomorrow:
coffee with vanilla soymilk and sugar in the raw <-starbucks
blueberry bagel (or a roll if not vegan)
orange juice
lemon herb tofu
sesame sticks
baby carrots
gardein gaucho breast on ww roll
raw kale salad

Lunch:
lettuce, tomato and pickle sarnie.

Dinner:
Butter bean stew. And it is effing beautiful, even if I do say so myself :D
Oh, and a bottle of the red stuff of course :)

today:

lunch:
-bowl of brown rice w/ soy sauce
-oraganic salad greens w/ basil and dill and italian dressing
-real iced tea
snack:
-vegan chocolate halloween cupcake
-halloween candies
dinner:
-big salad (organic baby greens, iceberg lettuce, sliced pickles, black sliced olives, cucumber, tomato, jalepeno, and onion, with italian and sweet onion dressing all over)
-real iced tea

Well my girlfriend brought the parsnip crisps from Asda which is owned by Walmart so I'm sure you will be able to get them over there. However it is quite simple to make them yourselve!

BREAKFAST:

2 x pancakes with half a tin of beans and half a spicey bean burger dipped in ketchup and bqq sauce (see awesome food thread for pics!)

Glass of apple and blackcurrent juice

LUNCH:

Bag of salt and vinager crisps

Two chocolate bisquits

DINNER:

Noodles with peas, tomatos and ketchup

(No more crappy food as of Monday!)

yesterday...

breakfast: smoothie (banana, pear, pb, rice milk)

lunch: baby carrots, celery sticks, tofu eggless salad sandwich on wheat bread, pb cheerio krispie square, sugar cookie, two candy corns, coffee w/ f.v. soy creamer

snack: strawberry banana soy yogurt, tandoori spiced papadum chips

dinner: giant wheat calzone w/ mushrooms, peppers, broccoli & chunky marinara, beers

tell me that's a lie! Tesco's jam doughnuts used to be a major reason for going to the UK :eek:

today I ate a lot of comforty food and far too little veg because my tummy is a bit upset:

bagel with peanut butter

a bowl of red lentil-pumpkin soup

seitan "goulash" with potato dumplings

2 satsumas

I swear I have vegetables in my kitchen! It's sort of weird... I've got days when I eat like 80% carbs, 80% veggies and fruit on others and oh well, today seems to be protein day :rolleyes:

Well I weighed myself this morning and nearly fainted!!!
So I am going to try not to consume the calorific intake for 3 people each day from now on.:rolleyes:

Organic beans on 2 toast with flaxseeds

Apple, a packet of crisps and lots of green tea

Veggie stir fry with chilli and peanut sauce with 2 w/m bread rolls

I am about to make red wine punch though, is that very calorific? In fact don't tell me.:eek::o

Glass of orange juice

LUNCH:

Orzo with parlsey, red peppers, red onions and sun dried tomatos

Bottle of water

SNACKs:

Green & Blacks dark chocolate with orange spices

Jelly with real raspberries

Vegetable samosa

DINNER:

Wholemeal tortilla with pinto beans and kidney beans in a spicey tomato sauce and iceberg lettuce.

Glass of fruit juice

(omg it is soooo nice to have food...yum yum yum!)

A handful of grapes

Stir-fried vegetables (sugar snaps, red pepper, mushrooms, baby corn, broccoli, onion and garlic) with rice

4 brazil nuts

Red lentil dhal and tomato/cucumber salad

a big yum salad at a veg restaurant with my vegan buddies
now im eating raw mixed nuts & seeds ( pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and slivered almonds)
