It was yummy, and yes, it was homemade.
Capers are the buds of the caper plant. This is what they look like: http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u52/Knuspermaus/?action=view¤t=17Kapern.jpg
The flowers are beautiful, and the scent is unforgettable. It will always be with me in my memories of Sicily. Look: http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u52/Knuspermaus/?action=view¤t=22Kapern.jpg and http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u52/Knuspermaus/?action=view¤t=10Kapern.jpg
The buds are then hand-picked, put in water for several days, dried in the sun, and preserved under salt. The officially best capers in the world come from Salina (Sicily). These are buckets full of capers in the co-operative where they produce them: http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u52/Knuspermaus/?action=view¤t=44Mmmhlecker.jpg
Unfortunately, in the UK you mostly get them in vinegar, which is a shame - the salted ones are far superior. I brought a kilo back with me from Sicily! :D

I ate food.....
I made stuff. It was nice. lol! Its my secret recipe...Na I am kinda jokin', but It was simple really. I put loads of veggy stuff in a frying pan for breakfast, like: 2 small onions, Chickpeas, Spinich (quite a lot too, it totally shrinks anyway and its good for ya), Tomatoe paste, little water, EV Olive Oil to fry some bread (fried-toast), and just stuff like that. . . .I added some ground Cumin and coriander leaves as well, mushrooms. All turned out delicous!
Also had a similer meal last night with itailan (white) rice, Garlic, green pepper, etc........cumin
Was good. Oh oh oh and and and, I made a YUMMM chocolate cake tonight with choccy icing. It was soooo easy!

Do you have an eating disorder sweetie?
Let me try to think of the possible reasons for that comment.
1. I said "I ate too much again."
I think most people would agree that 3400 kilocalories per day is "too much."
2. I ate mostly one type of food.
That is not really a choice. My stomach condition requires me to eat mostly grains.
3. I counted the number of ounces.
I think I have a right to know what goes in my mouth.
I do not take offense to being called "sweetie."
Anyway, while I am here, I might as well post yesterday, which was not much different. :(
Refined Wheat Flour Tortillas, 8.5 ounces
Three-Color Semolina Pasta, 6 ounces
Rice crackers, Wasabi flavor, 3.57 ounces
Corn Crispbread, 3.5 ounces
Pretzel Sticks, 3 ounces
Sandwich Crackers, 2.4 ounces
Round Crackers, 2 ounces
Fake meat stick, 1.5 ounces

It was understandable that she asked the question if she has read some of your other posts Steven, it is obvious you are drastically restricting your calorie intake and you have told us already you are underweight and want to stay that way.
Lets take a look at the relationship between gastroparesis and eating disorders

Lets hope you have someone on hand there not just online who is keeping an eye on your welfare.

God woman! Stop mentioning crumpets! You're driving me insane with desire and jealousy.
I love crumpets... Love 'em. The ones I can get here in france are vile. I like the big fat traditional ones that are all burned on top.
If you're going to keep eating them, at least take a photograph and post it so I can have a good ogle.
If anybody else has photos of crumptets, pikelets, muffins, toast, toasted buns, toasted potato farls ... any toasted products ...
Am I obsessed??!
