It was a pretty tasty day. And it was the first time I cooked quinoa, and it turned out really good! I cooked it in 1:1:1 veggie stock: water: quinoa ratio. I'm so glad it turned out, since I bought a whole bunch of organic quinoa last weekend.

B: 1/2c rolled oats cooked in water + ground flaxseed + half a banana
L: two luna bars, two grande coffees (one caf one regular since I was at school from 10-5 with no breaks!)
D: HUGE bowl of quinoa w/ black beans, tomatoes, and garlic salt + asian spiced steamed broccoli, carrots, and snap peas
S: orange + mango (if ripe)

MAAAN! The Alpro factory is 41miles from me - if they had a job that paid well enough I would finally be able to get out of this unethical working situation I'm in! I'm looking now and all their job opps are in Belgium at the moment - how annoying!!! Why are there no ethical companies near me? :(

BREAKFAST:

Four weetabix with strawberries and grapes in unsweetened soya milk

LUNCH:

Cheezly cheddar, fresh tomatoes, iceber lettuce on wholemeal bread x 2

SNACK:

Strawberries and two banannas

DINNER:

Shepherds Pie - Green lentils, steamed carrots, steamed brocolli, spinach, mushrooms, sweetcorn topped with creamy mash and grated cheezly cheddar. I smothered this with gravy and some ketchup. I even had seconds and have it for my lunch today lol. YUM!

You could send them a mail with the CV and explain that you want an ethical job. Some of my friends done that and they both got the job, later :)
