I have chronic anaemia/very low ferritin too - I may give this a go :) Every iron supplement I've tried has made my stomach really bad. Hoepfully it'll work as I hate feeling like this !

It is great! It works slower than a supplement from the Dr, but does not hurt my stomach in anyway. Take it in juice though, like Roxy says, it kind of tastes like blood!!:p

Yes, I found it to be quite gentle on my tummy too. The only complaint I have is that it's so expensive. Sometimes I can get it on a BOGO deal though, so that REALLY helps!!

JC: Erm, Alpro Light tasted kind of plasticy to me...I think I'll just stick with the rice, oat and almond milks (soy is generally higher protein/lower calorie but not the vanilla ones lol I used to drink those by the bucketful). Thankies for the recommendation though. Soy crisps can be purchased from H&B or just plain old Sainsburys where I live.

Yesterday:

Two oatibix with oat milk
Melon, sultanas

Apple Pie Larabar

Pinto bean salad (pinto beans, cucumber, lettuce, celery, tomatoes) w/red pepper dressing

Apple
Alpro Dark Choc soy dessert (last one!)

Tea with oat/soy milk x2

Today I had a package of ramen noodles cooked in veggie bouillon with chopped carrots and cabbage and a few sprinkles of flaxseed. It tasted bland so I put a package of the dried Domino's pizza pepper sprinkles, lemon pepper, some curry, and Cholula hot sauce powder.
And a coke.

I am eating scrambled tofu right now and I think I am in love! I made it once before a long time ago, but the recipe I was using was very bland and nothing special at all. I just made the version from VWAV with onions, mushrooms, carrots, nutritional yeast and a ton of spices...its so good. With hot sauce and sprouted grain bread and tomato basil hummus.

Thanx Roxy and Skylark :) I try! I recently gave up soft drinks (soda) and chewing gum and I feel soooo much healthier! I was drinking close to 1L of coke a day
