BREAKFAST:
Scrambled tofu with mushrooms, onion, peppers, garlic and tumeric with some ketchup.
2 hours at the gym
LUNCH:
Onions, yellow peppers, mushrooms, pine nuts, snitzel strips and lots of salad in a wholemeal tortilla.
DINNER:
Three vegi deli sausages, mashed potato and a very very large portion of steamed green beans.
SNACKS:
Frozen chocolate covered nuts - HOMEMADE!!!

B: Mixed grain cereals-oats, bran and some Special K w/ low-fat soymilk topped with raspberries

Anik I didn't think Special K was vegan...although it may be where you are!

ok dude I'm confused! So it isn't vegan in the UK but it is in Austrailia? However the medly is vegan in the uk?
(I'm sure it isn't vegan because I checked the ingredients recently on the back of the packet. Lactose I think it was :confused:)

So far today:
Two slices of wholemeal toast with plamil mayo and avocado:)
Baked beans on toast with grilled tomatoes
8 squares of chocolate
A banana
Green tea, water and apple juice
I probably will have beans, veggies and brown rice for dinner or maybe have quinoa instead of rice. I bought that the other day and haven't tried it yet.

Two oatibix w/rice milk, dates and raisins
Banana
Couscous salad w/chickpeas, peas, walnuts, peppers, tomatoes, raisins & french dressing
Apple
35g bar Green & Blacks 70% dark chocolate
Stir-fry (Tofu, beansprouts, soy sauce, carrot, baby corn, sugar snap peas, pak choi)
Sprouted hemp bread w/olive spread
Tea w/rice milk x2

lactose can be ok though i thought, depending on the source?
or am i getting the lact-'s confused again? :rolleyes::confused:

Lactose is milk sugar! I think you mean Lactic Acid which isn't always animal derived!.

lactose is the sugar found in milk, so that's not vegan.
lactate can be from both animals and plants as far as i know

i dont know why thats so confusing to me. i should remember it now :rolleyes:
i avoid anything with lact- in it, unless marked vegan, bc i'm a dipshit. :p

very original, for breakfast i had some bread, a yogurt and a tea.
and i skipped lunch, i know, bad girl, but i wasn't hungry at all, i couldn't force myself to eat.

Right, haven't posted her for ages so though i would make an effort today.
Breakfast
Porridge with almond and hazelnut rice milk, water to dilute and soya milk to cool it down.
Lunch
4 yeast extract coated rice cakes with bean pate. Handful of seasame coated caramel peanuts, banana and a soya latte.
Dinner
Stir fried veg with noodles, ice cream.
Later than dinner
Another handful of nuts and planning on having another latte.

cup of black tea
l - pasta with wild mushrooms, garlic and cherry tomatoes (bit unedifying...too much pasta/not enough mushrooms...but was just a snack cos dinner was going to be big :D) and an alpro yog.
tea with soya milk
d - half a roasted pepper stuffed with quinoa, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes with smoked paprika and coriander, roasted rosemary potatoes and swede and green beans. pronounced by veganaphobe boyfriend to be 'so good, i can't beleive it's vegan'. seconds all round :D

its exam week, so i have been super stressed! and when i get stressed i lose my appetite, so i have had to force myself to just eat this stuff. im excited for my spring break that starts friday, so i can go home and bake lots of good food : )

Yesterday:
Rhubarb crumble with Alpro custard.
Pasta salad - wholemeal pasta, mixed sprouts, courgette, avocado, cucumber, red cabbage, olive oil and lemon juice dressing, salt and pepper.
Apple Crings.
Two slices of wholemeal bread, one with hummus, the other with Tofutti cream cheese.
Drinks:
Cranberry and raspberry juice drink with Floradix.
Rooibos tea.
Soya milk.
Soya milk hot chocolate.
Lots of water.

Yum! Beetroot curry sounds nice Tigerlily :)
Yes, it's nice and sweet but not dessert sweet. It turns everything on your plate pink. :) I love pink rice, lol!

BREAKFAST:
Four weetabix with unsweetened soya milk, a bananna and some pineapple
LUNCH:
Red peppers, onions and aubergines in wholemeal wraps with salad and ketchup
DINNER:
Stir fry with marinaded tofu, onions, brocolli and red cabbage with some rice noodles and light soy sauce.
SNACKS:
Two vegi deli sausages dipped in ketchup
A wholemeal roll with organic peanut butter and jam
(I had munch in the evening, which was really comfort eating because I'm feeling down about jobs and stuff at the mo)
