I'm liking wikipedia today... this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biscuit) explain the difference between british and american biscuits.

kind of scone, but they're usually sweet. We don't do that whole "biscuits and gravy" thing here.

Porridge with hazlenut/almond milk and ginger
4 squares chocolate with orange/geranium
About 6 jelly bear things
Wrap with avocado/tomato/mayo/black pepper
Leftover veggie curry from Saturday
Huge piece of chocolate cake

B: (own version of baked beans) mixed beans, tomato, spinach, curry powder
green tea

S: apple

L: orange and a few carrot sticks

S: frozen raspberries & 2 cups english breakfast tea with no milk

D: salad- iceberg lettuce (ran out of the dark stuff unfortunately), red peppers, cherry tomatos, parsely and raw sunflower seeds w/ tangy white vinegar/djon mustard/olive oil dressing

3L water
I'm trying to incorporate more raw foods into my diet, I don't plan to go completly raw, but at least 50-60%:D

So far I have had:

Punnet of strawberries
2 bread rolls with scheese
Chickpea, mushroom and cauliflower curry with sliced cucumber
Freshly squeezed orange juice, water and green tea

Yesterday:
vanilla halvah (first time having this...delicious)
middle eastern couscous dish with tomato sauce (ready-made)
cocoa mole larabar
homemade irish stew (butternut squash, carrots, pearl onions, edamame, seitan, and pieces of smokey tempeh) over mashed potatoes
handful of chips and salsa

forget the rest of the day, i made THE BEST sticky toffee pudding in the world today. with an amazing better-than-dairy toffee sauce :D
if anyone wants the recipe, let me know and i'll post it

Thankies Aphrodite *hugs*. I'm on the waiting list to see a psychologist but this is the NHS we're talking about here so it could be months, so...more damage to my waistline I suppose :rolleyes:

Yesterday:

Peanut butter & plum jam sandwich
Banana

Beans on two slices wholemeal toast w/hemp seeds
Random salad - grated carrot w/ketchup, cucumber, tomatoes, grapes

Apple
Dairy Free Rice Crackle Choc Bar (wanted to try these for ages but a bit disappointing)

Two and a half small jacket potatoes w/lentil & apricot sauce, peas

Coffee w/rice milk x1

Today I've had,

B: Nothing, I slept till 11.
L: Mixed salad with bread roll
Second lunch: Small portion brown pasta with bolognese sauce
D: Corn on the cob and brown bread baguette with salad.
mmmmmmmmm been eating like a right fatty today.
Oh yeah and I had some apple tea. Yum.

Sounds delcious; I'd love the recipe.

Today:
more halvah (its just too good, I need to pawn the rest off to my boyfriend)
whole wheat pita with tomato basil hummus, baked tofu, and cucumber slices
luna bar
dinner will be ready-made pineapple curry over jasmine rice
snack will probably be a banana

Avocado salad
ginger nuts & coffee
Orange and apple & dried apricots
Sweet bean curry with brown rice
Wine :/

B: 1/3c organic, steelcut oats + 1/2 medium banana + 1/2 tbsp ground flaxseeds

L: large organic, handground clover, FT coffee + luna bar

S: 3 vegan fortune cookies

D: stir fry- baby spinach, bok choy, carrots, mushrooms, squash, edamame, black beans, sprouts, water chestnuts, tomatoes, orange ginger sauce

haha yeah tequila kills but the burn is so worth it :) and I wuv my vodka and cranberries.

pretty soon they'll know my order when I walk in the door, just like at the coffee shop :)

B: V-8 juice, Oatmeal w/ flaxseed, banana, double shot of espresso
L: teriyaki rice and black beans, half grapefruit
D: stir-fry w/ whole wheat linguini, marinated tofu, broccoli, crushed cashews, touch of garlic
Snack: a few tortilla chips with hummus

Thanks Roxy!! It's nice to be back! :D Can you believe I've been weaning myself off of my caffeine addiction...luckily there are so many herbal and decaf choices to keep me amused. Yes, I found out they closed my account due to inactivity :o



Do you remember the Blue Lagoon tea, I used to drink? If you ever come accross it, it's also caffeine free :)

D: homemade tomato soup- lots of garlic, onions, carrot, red peppers and a tin of tomatos, added water w/ curry powder, oregano and pepper for easoning
