breakfast: vanilla almond shredded oats w/ soymilk

lunch: bbq veggie riblets, sweet pepper & basil potato salad, cornbread

snack: smoothie of a banana, a plum, a couple frozen strawberries & a splash of soymilk

dinner: salad (romaine, spinach, cherry tomatoes, goddess dressing), lentil loaf, baked sweet potato w/ earth balance, steamed broccoli w/ bragg's

dessert: silk nog

Breakfast: whole wheat bagel with chunky pb
melon (honeydew and cantelope)
orange juice

Mid-day: an apple
strawberries with a handful of walnuts

Dinner: lots of lentils with rice
roasted red pepper hummus with pita bread
some brocoli

Evening: handful of baby carrots
chocolate soymilk

sliced apples, grapes, candied walnuts
cider (American-style; no alcohol before 5 p.m. :D )

snack:
sunflower seeds
popcorn

lunch:
white basmati rice, black beans, tomato, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower
green apple

dinner:
pigeon peas, brown rice
steamed kale with lemon-pepper
soy yogurt
green apple

- organic lettuce salad with viniagrette and raw sunflower seeds

I've only had breakfast so far:
two pieces of oat toast with Earth Balance and blood orange jam
small soy yogurt
cup of herbal tea

I've pretty much planned my meals for the day:

snack: green apple, sunflower seeds, bowl of frozen veggies (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower) with veggie broth

lunch:
peanut butter and jam sandwich
pretzels
green apple
a few pieces of Halloween candy

dinner:
fresh green beans
pasta with tomato sauce

after dinner:
tortilla chips with guacamole and salsa

yesterday:

breakfast:
-half cup chili
lunch:
-half cup brown rice
dinner:
-veggie chop suey, tomato fried rice
snack:
-about 20 grams of chips

i just dont think theres anyway to get me away from chips lol. but ohwell, if i control my portions than its fine.

spelt bread + yeast extract
2 carrots

earl grey tea + soya milk
2 tangerines

lentil, pumpkin, apple + ginger stew
lots and lots of brussel's sprouts - how I have been longing for them!

breakfast- organic coffee with silk and some organic sugar
- 1/2 honeycrisp apple
- small bowl of kashi orgainc cereal with some mixed nuts (w/silk)
-water

snack - banana
snack2- lara bar (raw food bar)

water

and I just had two slices of organic multigrain bread and I am drinking my 2nd cup of coffee because I am cold and it's raining outside and blah.

I am gonna cook some real food for lunch in a moment.

stir-fried veg (savoy cabbage, red pepper, mushrooms, brokkoli sprouts, water chestnuts) with coconut milk and curry paste, served with brown rice

you were able to find COCONUT MILK ...in ITALY?!?!?!?!?!?!!?:confused: where did you find it?? i haven't had any for about 4 years!! never been able to find it :confused: :(

I got some in an ethnic food store in Modena, Piggy. I also got some at the Ipercoop once (Centro Lame in Bologna I think).

Breakfast: granola with walnuts and vanilla soy milk
a small apple

Mid-day: a banana with natural chunky peanut butter

Dinner: stuffed cabbage with rice, ground "meat", in marinara sauce
small spinach salad with carrots, tomatoes, olive oil and vinegar

I have an apple in the fridge for later and some chocolate soymilk...

Lately I feel like I'm not getting enough veggies in my diet so I gotta work on that...

Breakfast:
-Cream of wheat made with soymilk and 1 tsp brown sugar
-Pear

Lunch:
-A whole wheat pita filled with Tofurkey, lettuce, and tomato
-Baby carrots
-Strawberry soy yogurt

Dinner:
-Marinated, baked tofu
-Whole wheat couscous
-Salad: Romain lettuce, tomato, baby carrots, and lowfat dressing
-Raspberry oat bar

Like Fiamma said, some of the ethnic food stores sell it. It's also regularly available in the big Esselunga in Bologna (Viale Lenin).
Whereabouts in Italy are you?

today i didnt eat enough because i have a messed up sleeping schedule (slept half the day) and also am not feeling well enough.

today:

breakfast:
-1/2 cup brown rice topped w/ 1/2 cup chili (sounds wierd but its really good!)
dinner:
-scoop of peas, scoop of roasted potatoes w/ gravy, little scoop of apple sauce

i was planning on having more chili and sunflower seeds for protein today but i just cant bring myself to eat anymore.

Tina I hope that you get to feeling better! I know how it is to have a messed up sleeping schedule. I often sleep in the day and sometimes it is even split between times, which is hard on the body. Sorry you don't feel well and hope that you can eat a good meal tomorrow. =)

- soup - with veggies, tofu and soba noodle
- white tea
- lemon soy yogurt
- can butter beans
- 1/2 tofurky sandwich on my homemade wheat and slice vegan cheese

I also hope you're feeling better, Tina. Don't worry too much because if you've slept half the day, your body didn't need as much calories as usual.

Yesterday was full of snacking, but surprisingly balanced when I look back at it:

breakfast: fruit + nut muesli with soymilk
(as always...can't have much in the morning but need my carbs)

"lunch" (snack ^_^): 3 pizza muffins
2 nori senbei (Japanese rice crackers)
2 clementines

snack: 2 tomatoes with salt+pepper, green olives stuffed with pepper paste, lots of arugula with olive oil+vinegar, ciabatta bread

dinner: penne with leftover arugula, garlic, olive oil and seeds (sunflower, pine and uh...?!)

Breakfast: small piece of toast
an apple
a banana
orange juice

Mid-day: a banana with chunky peanut butter
cinnamon roll flavored Larabar

Dinner: sweet & hot stir fry with veggies, pineapple, tofu and rice
chocolate peanut butter tofu mousse

I ate kind of alot today...oh well

snack: banana, walnuts

dinner: chips & salsa, salad (romaine, tomato, guacamole), bean burrito, margarita

afterwards: two blueberry & pomegranite alcoholic beverages

-Watermelon chunks
-Apple

Lunch:
-Tempeh burger with salsa (no bun)
-Green beans and baby carrots
-Baked sweet potato
Dessert: Banana shake (banana, soy milk, ice)

Snack:
Popcorn with EB

Dinner:
-Brown rice and balck beans
-Salad
Dessert: Creme caramel soy fro yo

A lot of junk food in the evening...:rolleyes: Probably because I skipped breakfast.

Breakfast:
Half a cup of coffee...had no appetite :confused:

Lunch:
A few pieces of fried eggplant with rice vinegar
Sauteed onions and endives with rice vinegar
2 pickled mini eggplants, around 10 olives
Salad (romaine lettuce, tomato, red pepper, orange pepper, radish, maybe more veg I forget, French dressing)

Supper:
Bowl of mashed potatoes
Sandwich: 2 pieces of millet bread, tomato slices, pickles, vegan mayo, mustard

Evening snacks (not all at once):
Candy (candy covered almonds and Fuzzy Peaches)
A few handfuls of chips
Cup of tea
Banana
Small bowl of cereal with soy milk

Today:

2 cups of coffee with Silk creamer.

2 pieces of multigrain toast with earthblance. 1 piece with agave nectar and the other with Raspberry & Champagne jam.

1 mug of lemon & ginger tea.

About 40g all natural veggie chips with 1/4 cup fruit salsa.

2 Medjool dates.

500ml Tuscan bean & sweet basil soup with
4 Melba Toasts.

2 slices of multigrain toast with earthbalance and agave nectar.

1 mug of lemon & ginger tea.

wholewheat roll with yeast extact, lettuce + tomato slices
2 carrots

coffee + soya milk
2 tangerines

brussels sprouts baked in the oven with a buckwheat crust

im really sick and have been throwing up but i managed to keep some food down yesterday.

-little bit of homemade lemonade

-2 homemade subs
-baked lays
-gingerale to help my nausea
-1 veggie pakora
