Animosity, your everything salad sounds delicious. Sometimes those are the best ones.

yesterday...

breakfast: ginger pear waffles w/ syrup, half a grapefruit

snack: apple, berryblossom white tea

lunch bento: lasagna, cauliflower leek puree, salad (lettuce, cucumber, celery, carrot, avocado, dried cherries, woodstock dressing), half an oatmeal raisin cookie, diet pepsi

snack: vanilla soy yogurt w/ vanilla almond crunch cereal

dinner: veggie brown rice sushi, more lasagna (almost done with the pan), one beer

before bed: emergen-c packet

Breakfast: Not a great appetite this morning as I am recovering from a bit of a tummy bug, so I just had hot water & lemon. Found a soya milk I like AT LAST so it is back to my breakfast fave again from tomorrow!

Lunch: felt 'snacky' so had a handful of mixed nuts, seeds and berries, and some figs, with a cup of Caro with soya milk.

Dinner: Homemade seitan (finally got it right last night!) stir fry with eryngii, shiitake, nameko and chestnut mushrooms on a bed of spinach with a smidgen of Dauphinoise potatoes (from Alpro Soya website)

Got an ice cold bottle of Cobra lager ready for tonight, yay!

NB: Why oh why will my family not touch any of this food? They are insane! Each to their own I guess :/

L- Borlotti bean hummous sandwich, salad (cucumber, tomatoes, celery, carrot, lettuce)
S- Apple, Alpro Chocolate Soy Dessert
D- 'Shepherd's Pie' (red lentils, mushrooms, tomatoes, carrot w/mashed sweet potato topping), cabbage.

Eggplant and edamame stir fry, Pizza Bread (sauce + tomatoes + nutritional yeast + vegan parmesan), pixie mandarin orange

Two banana-orange muffins

Veggie pizza (kalamata olives + crimini mushrooms + tomato + red onion + garlic + red bell pepper + vegan mozzarella + vegan parmesan + nutritional yeast)

Dinner: A completely random salad (about 3 cups) Lettuce, Beets, Olives, Onion, Baby corn, Spinich, Banana peppers, Tomato, Avacado, Asparagus, Kidney beans, Artichoke hearts, Broccolii, "bacon" bits, "Chicken" and homemade vegan ranch.

yesterday:
lemon herb tea
2 slices rye toast with 1/2 an avocado smushed on each (s&p)
sugar-free caramel soy latte
salad with iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion w balsalmic vinegrette
half of a thin crust pizza loaded with garlic sauce, tomato sauce, spinach, gimme lean beef and sausage balls, onion, green pepper, tomato slices, oregano, basil, s&p, nutritional yeast and a little leftover fyh mozzarella.

about 1 oz of cashews
brown rice with black and red beans, steamed edamame, carrots, and broccoli, with steamed tofu chunks with soy sauce and some cilantro/garlic sauce
some tortilla chips with hummus
16 oz caramel soy latte
2 slices of pizza (sourdough crust with tomato sauce and mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, olives, artichokes, and crushed red pepper)
diet cola
few glasses of wine

S: Key lime pie lara bar
L: Tempeh, spinach tomato and onion wrap. Apple.
S: kashi pumpkin spice bar, 2 wheatbix with vanilla soy milk and raisons
D: Steamed broccoli and quinoa, slice of toast with peanut butter, some watermelon.
For some reason I've been hungry constantly

Wow, yeah your right! :amazed_ani: Yum I love pizza! I want to try making it with Teese sometime, but I do enjoy it with FYH mozzarella. I haven't tried Teese yet, but I heard it is really good.

i've had teese in a sandwich at a restaurant. It was good. Seemed to melt a little better than fyh.

Breakfast: Shredded Wheat with chopped mixed nuts, seeds, goji berries, chiopped figs and soya milk. YUM!

Lunch: Falafel, homemade yellow lentil stew

Snack: Banana

Dinner: Soya chunks, stir fried mixed veg (lots) and rice noodles in a miso soup base, Alpro Soya Choccy dessert mmmmmmm!

Leftover beer for later ;)

I'm curious about your salad. How do you do potatoes in it? I love potatoes so I'm interested, are they hot or cold? seasoned? cut up?

It was actually an experiment, but it tasted really good. :)I used very small potatoes which were still warm. I cut them up and sprinkled them with salt and pepper. On the top I put the mixed greens and the veggies and used my favourite vinaigrette to season them.

If you're interested, here's the recipe:
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon orange juice
1 1/2 teaspoons maple sirup
1 teaspoon mustard

Yesterday,

Thick rolled oats + strawberries + banana + soy milk
Coffee + soy milk

My version of a Reuben sandwich with seitan, sauerkraut, tomato, bell pepper, red onion, mustard, baba ghanoush (instead of Thousand Island dressing which I do not like) on rye bread. And of course a pickle on the side :D
Earl grey tea

Popcorn + nutritional yeast + black pepper
Rooibos tea

Tofu, vegetable, and fruit curry (bell peppers + red onion + edamame + mandarin orange + mango + pineapple) with jasmine rice
Tazo Lotus tea

2 veggie burgers, but no roll cuz it tasted gross.
lo mein noodles with lots of peas, onions, peppers and corn
green curry with tofu

about to open some wine.
planning on making a big batch of cauliflower and potato tomato curry later so I'll have leftovers for a few days.
