For dinner I had stir fry from this place called "stir crazy". You take a little wok to the "market" which is veggies, spices and sauces and then you take it to a window and they cook it in front of you. You pick your "meat" and rice/noodle so I got Tofu and brown rice and loaded my wok up with tons of great stuff. When they cook the tofu they light it on fire for a minute and it had this great smoky taste. It was soo good. My friend got something off the regular menu and something happened and it took an hour so mine was cold because I was waiting. Still good though. I also had Edamame as an app and Tsingtao. Yum

thanks :) yep, wisdom teeth. i can't open my mouth properly.
i did manage to eat wholewheat pasta with vegemince bolognese sauce for dinner yesterday, although it took me about twice as long as usual because i can only take tiny mouthfuls. then i had a large glass of organic red wine ;)
Glad you managed to eat at least. Maybe next time have the wine first and it'll sort of take the edge off ;). I've had 3 of 4 impacted wisdom teeth out (when I was in agony). The 4th one came in & my dentist keeps saying it needs to come out b/c it'll cause problems. I said when it causes probs I'll have it out. That's me...wait for the agony. Anyway...
Today:
bowl Barbara's shredded spoolfuls w/ soymilk
orange juice
organic green grapes
black & lemon tea w/ agave
lemon echinacea throat coat x 2
african redbush peach tea
curry and rice (leftover from yesterday)
irish breakfast tea
strawberry coconut muffin
acai berry tea
pasta w/ mock meat sauce & "parmesan"
corn w/ earth balance & parsley
foccacia dipped in oil, rubbed w/ garlic & put under broiler
irish breakfast tea
2 cookies

Sounds good. Sounds like the restaurant Fire and Ice (that place wasn't veg though). Is this place vegan? And is it in CT? I ask b/c my inlaws live there and I'm always looking for good places to eat when we visit.

No, it's not Vegan they just have things on the menu. You can get the stir fry with chicken, beef, shrimp, etc. It's in NY at the Palisades mall in Nyack (westchester). I go to school in CT but am spending the summer in NY where I'm from for an internship. You're right though, CT is a horrible place to find vegan friendly restaurants. I never eat out there.

Thanks for the info. The best vegan friendly place we've found in CT is It's Only Natural in Middletown. If you ever check it out I recommend the Tempeh "Crab" Cakes.

If its the same as the one in Missouri, where I am from, then I like that place quite a bit also. They also cook the vegetarian stuff in separate woks, which is nice. The sauces are also appropriately labeled. My bf and I also had vegetarian lettuce wraps which were ace.
