vegetable soup
toasted wholewheat bread

apple, orange
dinner will be:

Perhaps you should post terms like "cavolo nero", "grissini" and "castagnaccio" in English, as not everyone may understand them. Your day sounded very healthy though :)

I cook it the same way as with porridge oats, only that it takes longer. I bring water/soya milk to the boil, then add the quinoa and let it cook gently for about 15-20 minutes. If I add dried fruit, I add it about 5 minutes before it's done, fresh fruit goes in just before serving. There's also quinoa flakes, which would work the same way as porridge oats I guess, but I haven't tried them yet.

Here's some info on black cabbage (http://www.nickys-nursery.co.uk/seeds/pages/vegc.htm)(not much but at least there's a picture :) ) You need to scroll down to the bottom. Looks like it also goes by the name of Cavolo Nero in the UK - I stand corrected :)

I have never seen it in Germany while I was still living there. Grünkohl is the closest you can get.
