Legally delicious. They are vegan chocolates, and my waistband expands regardless of what I eat, so I figure I should go for the gold.

yesterday i managed to start a diet, yay me :D

coffee with soya milk
raisin wheats cereal with rice milk

1 banana
1 apple

big salad of beans, lentils, tomato, cucumber, couscous and rice

broccoli and chick pea curry with basmati rice

lots of water all day

Ive eaten more today than I have all week lol

B: Muesli with soya milk, cup of tea with soya milk

L: Went to a veggie restaurant, there was a set vegan menu but it was in Croatian so I didnt know what I was going to get but ordered it, and got:
carrot, parsley and noodle soup
sort of dumplings with mock meat and tomato sauce with soy cheese, mixed veg, fried squash with seeeds, salad with seaweed and a vinagerette dressing
"nougat cake" which was a cakey thing with tofu and carob ( i think) and crispy bits on top
Not sure what anything was really but it was yummy!

D: Leftover bean and tomato soup from yesterday.

Feeling so full now!! The question is, do I go back tomorrow or is that just too indulgent?!

few squares dark chocolate w/ cocoa nibs

goji berry green tea
quesadillas (whole wheat tortillas, refried black beans, scallions, monterey jack cheese, salsa, guacamole, sour cream)

2 squares of dark, raspberry filled chocolate, earl grey creme tea
3 slices of leftover pizza with soy cheese and veggies, couple breadsticks
diet soda
huge burrito with rice, black beans, guac, salsa, and lettuce; chips and salsa, another diet soda

Today


small glass of raspberry acai juice
large hazelnut soy latte, luna bar
bagel with earth balance and blackberry jelly, fried cinnamon apples, more coffee
couple handfuls of dried berries
2 large glasses of apple cider
homemade lentil vegetable soup

YESTERDAY:

Porridge for breakfast with soy milk and a glass of Orange juice
Boiled potatoes, veg and bread for lunch and a banana - i work in a kitchen and get the left overs for lunch
Vegan toad in the hole with potatoes, parsnips, gravy and broccoli.

TODAY

Vegan crepes with lemon and sugar for breakfast
not gone to work yet but i'm taking some veggie soup cos i'm tired of there being nothing left for me :(
and later i'll be having spag bol which is currently bubbling away in my slow cooker, probably with some garlic focaccia. YUM! On that note, must go and knead the focaccia dough before i have to go to work.

Yesterday:
2 pieces of toast with Tesco yeast extract (not Marmite anymore yay)
Bowl of leftovers: red pepper, red onion, wild rice, olives
Some Plamil mint chocolate
Lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes with olives
Pizza with artichokes and olives
(Did I mention that I quite like olives?:D)

Green tea, water and a large glass of red wine!!! I hadn't drunk any alcohol for 4 months up until then, it was very nice though :satisfied:

Today:
2 toast with yeast extract
4 dates
Crisps
Big salad: lettuce, tomatoes, broad beans in a lemony dressing with lots of houmous
2 slices of that Dutch apple cake, mmm quite yummy
Mint choc (ugh I feel too full!)

I ate a little too much today, but I can exercise it off later tonight.



Chopped Cantaloupe (about 1 cup) & 2 Plums



Big plate of Romaine/Arugula/Alfalfa Spout Salad w/ Roasted Celery & Tempeh (splash of Lemon Juice and Veggie Broth for flavor)



2 Bowls Puffed Rice Cereal (Arrowhead Mills) w/ Peanut Butter (like 4 big tbsps. :eek:) (Instead of adding my usual Rice Milk to the bowl, I used Apple Cider…. It was good! And, of course, I added cinnamon & nutmeg for extra flavor).

raisin wheats with rice milk

1 banana
1 apple
leftover chilli made with lots of veg and soya mince, with rice

pasta shells with 'cheese' sauce and mixed veg
2 gluten-free apple & blackberry pies with soya cream

lots of water during the day

mojo mountan mix bar
very vanilla soymilk

black tea x 2
1/2 quesadilla w/ all the fixings (leftover from last night)
dried papaya
almonds
purple grapes

(nervous/stress eating)...mini pnb crackers, onion & poppy seed crackers, another piece of dried papaya, hazelnut coffee, some salad.

might eat more later....

later had...guanabana tea, oj, ww english muffin w/ earth balance & cherry jam, scramble (tofu, mushrooms, spinach,onion, cheese)

now, some black tea and cookies

- Smoothie with 1 scoop pea protein powder, 12 oz. light soy milk, 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- Brown rice and vegan chili
- Large bowl of organic shredded wheat with almond milk
- 2 liters of Cherry Coke :( ugh.

I hate drinking soda. It's basically the one bad habit I can't shake.

This does not sound like "too much" at all - most of the things you've put down have hardly any calories in them! You're well under the recommended calorie intake for any adult with that lot.

You're right.
Maybe it just seems like tons to me because I basically ate it all in one sitting....

I slept in and was running late for work so I had to skip breakfast; later, I was bombarded with papers so I had to skip lunch as well.
I was REALLY hungry when I got home and ate all that stuff within an hour! I was bloated when I got done (mostly from the cereal/peanut butter.... I'm SO BAD with those 2 foods).

If I had spaced the eating of the food throughout the day it wouldn’t have seemed like all that much.

wrap (ww tortilla, tomato, spinach, cucumber, onion, garlic hummus, oil, vinegar)
a sliced avocado sprinkled w/ pepper & paprika
hot chocolate w/ soyatoo whipped cream

might add more later...

Bad day yesterday - craving carbs

Toast
Spaghetti with olive oil and vegan parmesan
Bread and jam
Copious cups of tea
Dark chocolate of course - never go a day without chocolate - that's my motto and I always stick to it :smile:

Think that's it - note to self - must do better
