I went to the Leicester Vegan Fair earlier where I had vegan fish, chips and mushy peas (and cake for breakfast!... and Animal Aid short dated chocolates for afternoon coffee time treat)... hehe! I'm so unhealthy :D

Friends have invited us over for dinner later, and they usually have really nice food (including stuff they've grown on their own allotment) so looking forward to that. Despite the rain I'm having a lovely day so far :)

L: Went to a veggie restaurant, there was a set vegan menu but it was in Croatian so I didnt know what I was going to get but ordered it, and got:
carrot, parsley and noodle soup
sort of dumplings with mock meat and tomato sauce with soy cheese, mixed veg, fried squash with seeeds, salad with seaweed and a vinagerette dressing
"nougat cake" which was a cakey thing with tofu and carob ( i think) and crispy bits on top
Not sure what anything was really but it was yummy!

oh my god, is that in Split? I think a weekend trip might be in order! it's only 6 hours on the train. i could get the morning one, be there in time for lunch and then back again in time for bed, heh heh!

how much was that set? 90kn?

the sunflower (my favourite) tastes closer to real butter but slightly nutty, the soya one is creamier and a bit more like a traditional marge. and as both of them usually cost the same now give the sunflower one a try
