today! corn flakes with soya milk and "fruit" sugar: then went out for lunch with my son and p.a...two scrummy vegetable based veggie burgers, peas, and chippies! I checked they were fried in veggie oil...promise! Thanks everyone for the tips about the pure marge! I don't think I will be eating much for a couple of days, had mi tongue pierced today...bloody uncomfortable now lol! :) xxx

Breakfast: 1 piece of whole grain bread with peanut butter
Snack: 1 piece of celery with peanut butter
Lunch: Salad with 1 tomato slice, 2 cucumber slices, green onion and lemon pepper in red wine vinegar
Snack: fries that were given to me. couldn't say no!
Dinner: veggie burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, potato bread buns
Snack: frozen grapes
cup of green tea


I'm trying to lose like 20 pounds. The burger and the fries was a bad idea. Also, the massive amounts of peanut butter....
Sad story.

today:

coffee with soya milk
raisin wheats cereal with rice milk

organic apple and sultana flapjack

salad of rice, couscous, mixed beans, tomato, oinion, cucumber, grated carrot and beetroot
1 pear
1 banana
1 apple

pasta shells and mixed veg in a 'cheese' sauce
half a giant peanut butter cookie

porridge with jam
cup of teeeea

three slices rye bread with sunflower seeds, with sliced tomato and a pepper
one (super tasty, i might add) orange

dinner was a mahooosive bowl of lentils with some tomatoes and half an onion chopped up in it.

my boyfriend is coming out here in two weeks, and i have eaten one too many lisnato visnja (cherry pastries...). super diet time! no bread/rice/pasta for dinner, no sweets, nothin' fun. must look fab, haven't seen him for two months! heh heh :)

-"Malt Wheaties" (Shreddies) and quinoa milk. Banana and chocolate smoothie (banana, soya milk, ice, cocoa, agave nectar).

-Chilli houmous, tomatoes and alfalfa sprouts on toast. Provamel forest fruits yoghurt.

Then dinner at Wagamama:
-Rice noodles in vegetable soup with stir-fried courgette, asparagus, fried tofu, red onion, leeks, shiitake and portobello mushrooms, mangetout, beansprouts and garlic. Seasoned with chilli, spring onions and sesame seed oil.
-Mango and lime zest sorbet with lychee sorbet.

A great-food day!

my boyfriend is coming out here in two weeks, and i have eaten one too many lisnato visnja (cherry pastries...). super diet time! no bread/rice/pasta for dinner, no sweets, nothin' fun. must look fab, haven't seen him for two months! heh heh :)


i'm sure he will think you're beautiful no matter how many cherry pastries you eat. :p

4 coconut macaroons
leftover vermicelli soup
chick'n burger on ezekiel roll (w vegenaise)
large boring salad w iceberg lettuce, baby carrots and mushrooms (sesame dressing)
handful or 2 of ww triscuits
handful peanuts
a pear (well, 1/2 anyway)
3 or 4 handfuls roasted pumpkin seeds
3 more coconut macaroons
now i'm making shells n chreese with broccoli and am having a cocktail...
(eta: i ate the entire box of shells n chreese :o... well, not the box itself, but u know what i mean. :rolleyes:)

B - Toast with raw almond butter. 1 soy latte.

L - Chinese 'chickn' salad and sweet potato fries (at a restaurant).

D - Trader Joe's canned Chili, 1 crisp bread with vegetarian pate' and cucumbers.

S - 1 mango. Freshly squeezed OJ.

2 cups of coffee with vanilla soy milk.



Sandwich: white bread roll, mashed avocado, Tofurky Hickory Smoked deli slices, cranberry sauce, tomato slices, Tofutti cheese slice.



cherry chocolate Bumble Bar.
1 cup of coffee with vanilla soy milk.



1 roti stuffed with vegetables (potato, corn, peas, carrots) with tamarind chutney.
A few potato wedges.
Salad - bulghur, red pepper, green pepper, kidney beans, corn, green onions, Santa Fe dressing.
Water.



2 small pieces of apple pie with vanilla soy icecream.
A few jelly beans.
1 glass of white wine.

yesterday...

breakfast: two pieces pumpkin bread, one w/ cream cheese & one w/ pb, green tea w/ kombucha

lunch: salad (leaf lettuce, shredded carrot, red bell pepper, grape tomatoes, grilled garlic & black pepper tofu, goddess dressing), baked potato

dinner: wheat rotini w/ creamy pumpkin-almond sauce, sauteed romaine

snack: fresh apple sauce, bbq soy crisps, sleepytime tea

Bowl of porridge with soya milk, sliced banana and maple syrup
2 cups of tangerine, peach and echinacea tea

I went out to eat lunch today:
Mushroom and ale pie, chips and mushy peas
Fruit crumble with custard
1/2 bottle of organic red wine

today i had;
1 digestive biscuit
1.5 slices toast with half a pack of tofu fried in soy sauce, mushroom ketchup and sunflower oil
orange juice
coffee
2 sosmix rolls
a packet of plain crisps
1 sausage, a few small roasties and a huge helping of peas
probably some strawberries tonight

Yes I was off all alcohol but I started drinking red wine last week. I was starting to get random cravings for cigarettes and burnt meat (:eek:) and thought maybe I would allow myself a few drinks when I feel like it rather than go for them instead. I don't want to get drunk ever again though.:)

That food was really lovely today, I think that is the nicest vegan meal from a restaurant I have eaten so far.:thumbsup:

Also I have had some kettle chips, salt and black pepper flavour and some red grapes and some more tea. I'm still a bit peckish.

brekkie - two bowls of porridge. well, really one, but i didn't make enough first time and i was still hungry

lunch - rye bread and half a pepper. not inspiring in the slightest...

dinner - veggie fajitas. ooooooops, diet.

looks like it might be miso soup for the rest of the week, heh heh!

ABC espresso chip cookie (I have been allowing myself to buy these on a regular basis because I am showing support for my local coffee shop that just started selling vegan cookies...but it really needs to stop :p)

Pumpkin soup.
Stuffed mushrooms, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower and mashed potato.
Hot banana and vanilla Swedish Glace.
Cherry and coconut flapjack.
Mumbai mix.

and for dinner i think will be miso soup. i'm trying not to eat carbs for dinner, but i might have to put some rice in it...i'm feeling hungry already though i'm nto sure why, as i had a big lunch. trying very hard to resist the call of the pastry shop...
