gorilla - your weekend sounds so tasty! especially the bakewell tart bit...i don'tt hink i've had one of those since being vegan. did you make or buy? i luuuuuurved them!

i bought it at the West Midlands Vegan fayre from the Veggies catering stall. some (whisper) supermarkets sell vegan bakewell tarts which are quite nice but not as good as home-made of course.

They are prepacked, and seasoned with 5-spice. Apparently very popular in Asia.
Still struggling to eat them.

sandwich of kohlbrot (this yummy bread with cabbage in it), vegan schmalz (this garlicky oniony spread), sun-dried tomato, cucumber slices, and basil flavored tofu

bowl of pumpkin carrot ginger soup, piece of kohlbrot, tomato
went food shopping today...so happy my kitchen no longer looks barren!

last night for dinner - 'tofuburger' toasted panini type thing from a little shop on the Cvjetni trg. they sell normal sandwiches and then randomly all these vegan ones. it's bizarre, and teh guy thinks i'm some kind of mentalist - i must be the only one who ever eats them. but i figure someone else must order them, or why would they be there? tasty though...
brekkie - am trying to be a bit healthier, so for breakfast i had porridge as usual, but i put in some dried cranberries, raisins and some almonds. was super tasty!
lunch - bean chili (well...kind of. turned out a bit more like spicy baked beans with onions in...but worked nevertheless) and a baked potato.
mandarin if there are any left.
not sure what to have for dinner...probably left over chili :D

Yesterday
Porridge
Falafel with hoummous and some cold rice and vegetable tikka (at work - work in a kitchen get cold leftovers)
Spicy Tomato Spaghetti with garlic chestnut mushrooms and Veganomicon Almesan on top.
An alpro caramel dessert - don't like these but i bought em and they've got to be finished - i prefer the dark choc ones
Then later Ritz crackers with mushroom pate
Today
Crumpets with pure spread
Tea
Mashed potatoes, green beans, cold spring greens and some french baguette (cold work left overs again)
A banana
just eaten 2 ritz crackers and will be having Moussaka for dinner possibly with some fresh pineapple and melon for after.

ww couscous with diced tofu, tomatoes, edamame, and 1/2 an avocado
handful of chocolate covered espresso beans
more couscous prepared the same with other avocado half (i bought a package of ripe avocados that were super cheap, but they won't last long!)

poppy seed crackers with soya spread, soft Sheese and sliced cucumber

1 apple
stir-fried mixed veg and braised tofu in a hoisin and garlic sauce, with jasmine rice
too many Animal Aid chocolates :o
lots of water throughout the day

Pizza with artichokes and olives
Slice of chocolate mousse cake
Two bites of a lemon cake, yummy also

Today I woke up at five and ate a ton of oatmeal with fried banana (it's sooo yummy) and bread with alpro. Haven't eaten anything since.

lunch: corn crackers & uncheese cutouts, spinach salad w/ red onion, chopped apple & balsamic vinaigrette, pumpkin cookie

dinner: stirfry (carrot, celery, bok choy, broccoli, red pepper, mushrooms, garlic, ginger & hoisin) over whole wheat blend pasta w/ cashews
before bed: diet partner tea

Today:
1 cup organic fair trade coffee with organic unsweetened soy milk.
organic fruit & nut museli with sliced organic banana & organic unsweetened soy milk.
1 sticky rice roll - black sticky rice casing stuffed with marinated sweet tofu, tofu & bean sprout salad, chinese mushrooms and a piece of chinese donut.
1/2 a bottle of water.
1 Power Cookie - mixture of oatmeal, different seeds and nuts.
Home made spaghetti bolognaise - organic spaghetti, Yves Italian ground round, organic portabella mushrooms, dried oregano, dried basil, bottle of organic roasted garlic pasta sauce - topped with parma.
1 glass organic fairtrade wine.
1 chocolate soy icecream.
1 ginger candy.
1 square of dark chocolate.
3 large cups of water during the day.

Lunch: sprouting seeds, tahini, cherry tomato sandwich (thick wholemeal seedy bread)
Afternoon

Apple, giant pear (it really was that huge)
Evening Meal
Mash (made with s'milk), long tofu Frankfurter, leeks, carrots, pok choi

Humdingers chocolate buttons, Small brandy

breakfast - bread ring and a cup of tea
lunch - spaghetti with mushrooms
dinner - bottle of lager, crisps and biscuits (it was one of those days!!)
and of course my daily bit of chocolate :)

Another big bowl of salad with mayo, I'm obsessed with lettuce at the moment!:p

Breakfast: Chocolate stars with rice milk.
Snack: Oat cakes with peanut butter.
Lunch: Cold pasta with tomato sauce.
Snacks: Nakd bar, satsumas.
Dinner: Cauliflower, tomato, red sweet pepper, courgette and mushrooms roast in olive oil with garlic on a big pile of quinoa.
Lots of coffee and juice throughout the day. Wine now.
