Christmas: A time you spend with people you don't like, eating food that's not as good as the rest of the year, doing things you don't like to music you don't like and there's no train to get away from it!

Haha! Sounds more or less right.

Except the sprouts thing. I lurrrrrve sprouts. Unfortunately they don't like me and they cause me to emit noxious fumes. That doesn't stop me eating them by the truckload though.

Awwww. Bah humbug. For me it's a time I spend with people I wish I could spend more time with, eating loads of extra nice stuff and feeling understood and appreciated and loved. Hmmm. I hope my Uncle Paul doesn't think of me as that sort of relative....maybe I should let him off the festive token sprout this year :o

Today I've eaten:
Breakfast - grapenuts, tea
Lunch - school Christmas dinner  actually, was ok. I sat on the vegetarian table (2 other staff and 3 siblings) and had: peas, carrots and roast potatoes from school, and sausages, cauliflower cheese and gravy that were mine. The others had veggie sausages and quorn fillets. I even got a bowl of melon while everyone else had ice cream.
Dinner - Leek and potato soup with lovely bread rolls.

I have been eating total junk lately. I haven't had any vegetables for about 4 days now.:o

Lots of crackers with pure and garlic and herb cheezly.
Packet of salted kettle chips.
1/2 a fresh pineapple.
1 banana.

I am going to have two LM sausage rolls in a minute, they are much nicer if you brush some olive oil on them before you bake them.

I will have some veggies later I promise.:D

^ Haha. :D Mine was one of the small bags (for a change.) I forgot that I also had coco pops with rice milk. Rice milk is yummy, much nicer than soya I think.

Also a veggie and tofu stir fry with spring rolls and fruit with choccie sauce, jeez louise!!!

I had some salads, which I didn't have a variety of ingredients so I used the greens (from Earthbound Organics), wtih wild mushroom field roast, sunflower seeds, and raw unsalted almond slices sprinkled on top. Unfortunately I didn't have any carrots or bell peppers or anything, but it was good considering that it was the last day for the greens!

Then I had a vegan chili at a restaurant, which was pretty good. At home I had a microwave thai stir-fry that is vegan. While it says on the front that is it dairy free, it's not until you get to the back, just before the ingredients listing that is says in parentheses: (vegan). It was quite good; I'm going to have to reccommend it to my omni parents who often live off of quick meals, and it would be nice to show them a vegan alternative.

Stir fry [R/O/G peppers, broccoli, sticky mushrooms, spinach, cherry tomatoes, bean sprouts, tofu, onion, garlic, pineapple, coconut milk..]

One mikan [tangerine/clementine thing]

Vegan Nabe!!!! [when everything is cooked in dashi [broth] in a ceramic pot] made with soo much good stuff.. The dashi was a kombu/miso mix and the veggies were SO Japanese. DELICIOUS.. tofu, bean sprouts, huge green onions ["negi"], spinach, cabbage, shimeji mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, daikon, sweet potato, satoimo ["taro"], yamanoimo [mountain yam], mochi, lotus root, "baby" bamboo, and teeny white konnyaku pasta bundles]

Some white rice, plus some shoyu/sesame dipping sauce for some of the veggies.

Some pineapple

Nabe is my new favorite food. :D:lol::bigsmile2: It's soooo delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
