it's yummy! It always makes me want cream of wheat when i read veggie girls posts.

There's also cream of [brown] rice that's very similar. I think it's even yummier than cream of wheat. :D

today I ate a Green & Black dark chocolate with hazel nuts and currants, that someone sent me as a little gift. Very tasty! :)

yesterday...
breakfast: hot five-grain cereal w/ raisins, brown sugar & soymilk
lunch: veggie burger (on wheat toast w/ ketchup, vidalia mutard relish, pickles & lettuce), boiled cabbage
snack: cranberry crunch trail mix bar, a grapefruit
dinner: tofu-stuffing casserole w/ mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes & cauliflower, roasted root veggies
dessert: raisin pecan spice cake

I thought there MIGHT be such a thing, but I didn't know. I have never seen it. :confused:

Oven baked french fries with ketchup
Raw veggies (carrots and both green and red peppers) with creamy veggie dressing

butternut squash soup
toasted spelt bread + artichoke spread
coffee + soya milk
2 oranges
dinner will be:
wholewheat pasta with courgettes, yellow pepper + cherry tomatoes
maybe some chocolate later tonight

Today I ate a lot, because I went to the gym twice (once for strenth training and once for yoga)
Pre-gym Snack: Apple
Breakfast:
-Cream of wheat made with soy milk, with a little brown sugar
-A small spoonful of peanut butter
-A pear
Lunch:
-Chic pea salad (I think it's also called No Tuna Salad) in a whole wheat pita
-Baby carrots
-2 chocolate chip cookies I baked yesterday
Pre-gym snack:
-Pear
-a small handful of pretzels
Dinner:
-A few mre baby carrots (I have been craving them lately)
-Chic'n stirfry with brown basmati rice
-Cookies 'n Cream Cliff Bar
Later:
-Probably oatmeal with soymilk

I think the closest thing to Cream of Wheat we have in the UK is Semolina (as in the pudding) :)

breakfast: grits made w/ soymilk, applesauce
lunch: veggie burger (on wheat toast w/ lettuce, ketchup, dijon mustard, relish), mashed potatoes & cauliflower w/ mushroom gravy, carob banana energy chunk
snack: navel orange, apple cranberry tea
while baking: bit of peanut butter, a couple chocolate chips, and some cookie dough
dinner: roasted veggie & soy ricotta ravioli w/ garden tomato sauce, lemon garlic broccoli, chocolate chip spelt cookie (best vegan cookie I've made so far, yay!)

breakfast- a cinnamon and raisin bagel with pnut butter
lunch- left over stuffed shells.
dinner- bbq chicken, pasta ribbons, applesauce, corn and tater nuggets
dessert- some ice cream
all vegan of course!

Yesterday:
B- Steamed veggies with Organic spelt Tortelloni (filled) ~left-overs :p
L- Hummus and roasted pepper sandwich- big wholemeal bap thing. Date and oat slice with plain soy yogurt.
S- Few leftover veggies
S- Apple
S- Little carton of choc soy milk
B- Stir-fry rice noodles with veggies in a coconut sauce
S- 2 oranges with plain soy yogurt
Today (so far):
B- Fruit and nut muesli with a chopped banana and soy milk. Big piece of (no-added sugar) apricot and almond cake with plain soy yogurt.
I've been so hungry lately :o

Breakfast: 3 slices of toasted fruit loaf with pure spread topped with marmalade, a pot of fair trade organic leaf tea with soya milk;
At the Gym: A bottle of elderflower drink with acidophilus powder added;
Lunch: 1 wholemeal pitta bread with spread I am really into now called Styria, made by Biona, with some seaweed snacks and 3 satsumas;
Dinner: a big plate of chick pea and spinach curry (home made) with lots of brown rice.
Plus lots more tea and herbal tea throughout the day.

-about 3/4 c leftover Amy's black bean chili
-a slice of whole grain oat bread with EB
-Salad (romaine lettuce, a plum tomato, baby carrots, and red pepper strips)
Dessert: Pumpkin flax granola with soymilk
Snack #1: Lemon Poppyseed Cliff Bar
Snack #2 (shortly after): Pear
Dinner will be:
-BBQ Riblets
-Leftover brown basmati rice with EB
-veggies
-Dessert: plain soy yogurt
ETA: French Toast flavored oatmeal :)

1 am snack: torta caprese (chocolate almond cake :p), some tangerines, some muesli (oats, coconut, walnuts, raisins etc) with water
lunch at uni: breadroll(white) with pickled eggfruit, an espresso
snack: 4 tangerines, some dark (70% cocoa :p) chocolate
supper: rice with eggfruit and tomato topping, roasted chestnuts, 1 piece of dark choc

I ate fresh figs for the first time today. I thought they were ok. Mind you they were from a supermarket. They're probably a lot nicer picked straight from the bush in a warm Greek meadow!

yesterday:

lunch: hummus, cucumber & bell pepper lettuce wraps, stuffed grape leaves, tabouleh
snack: smoothie of grapefruit, banana & frozen strawberries (tasted good but too pulpy - blech)
while baking: a bite of raw dough (have to make sure it tastes good!) and then two small snickerdoodles
dinner: chips & salsa, burrito (grilled onions, peppers & mushrooms w/ red wine sauce), spanish rice & refried beans

At my supermarket, it's not with the other conventional cereals. It's in with the "specialty"/"natural foods" section.

What I ate today mirrors the way I felt all day...pretty crappy.
breakfast: muesli with vanilla soymilk
lunch: 6 homemade samosas (turned out to taste more Italian than Indian o.o)
snack: organic apple
dinner: spaghetti with arugula + sunflower seed pesto
