yesterday was a very tired day...
breakfast: roasted veggie tofu quiche, half a grapefruit, coke zero
snack: banana, coffee
lunch: curried noodle/veggie/edamame stirfry, steamed brussels sprouts, pb cup
snack: sesame sticks
snack: pretzels
dinner: green curry (onion, pepper, tofu, sweet potato, broccoli, cauliflower) over brown basmati rice

2 vegetable burgers, onion, chips, green beans and side salad

Vegan nuggets. I normally avoid fake meat, but this one is good and at least isn't named after the animal or meat itself. Dining hall has Chicken Finger Thursdays and Vegan Nugget Thursdays. For Go Vegan Week, I'm going to have a Thursday theme: no poultry; eat Vegan Nuggets instead!!!

B: punnet of blueberries, banana, 2 x tea w/ rice milk
M: green smoothie (baby spinach, 2 narnas), narna, 1 spearole tea
L: salad w/ lettuce, carrot, cuc, tom, lemon juice, 1 spearole tea
A: juice (1 beetroot, 3 sticks of celery, 1 red delicious apple, ginger), banana, 1/2 a raw fudgy wudgy chocolate slice thingo
D: zucchini pasta w/ tomato, cashew, basil sauce, topped w/ an avocado & lemon juice, grapes, water

Lunch: Minestroni soup with ciabatta roll, savoury crackers with mushroom pate and a chocolate peppermint cupcake (I don't usually eat as much in the middle of the day, but it was my birthday lunch. Bookgirl (DD) baked the cupcakes :))

2 slices of toast with pure and blackcurrant jam
Small packet of salted kettle crisps
Veggie sausage sandwich with brown sauce
Veggie stir fry - red pepper, broccoli, bean sprouts, cashew nuts and pineapple
Also a bowl of coco pops with soya milk.
Water and a glass of fruit squash. I might have some green tea in a minute, I haven't had a cup all day!:amazed_ani:

D: zucchini pasta w/ tomato, cashew, basil sauce, topped w/ an avocado & lemon juice, 1/2 of a raw chocolate fudgy slice, water

I have never understood why the name "chicken fingers" was supposed to be appealing, even when I ate them. I mean, really. What image does that bring to mind???

at hospital:
1 serving sunflower seeds I brought
(BTW, I didn't get to check out their catering; I brought the snack since I knew I likely wouldn't be eating for awhile, no larabars.)
Not a good day for me! Going to hospital is really screwing with my eating habits. :(

Not a good day for me! Going to hospital is really screwing with my eating habits. :(
I forgot about food until they asked me if I had any dietary requirements and then I said vegan & gluten free. The nurse was really nice and said they would organise something just for me. I got rice cakes, a plate of watermelon, rockmelon & honeydewmelon and a salad. Hope you're ok, QM.

Breakfast: Hot cross buns.
Snack: Co-op donuts.
Lunch: Vegetable soup and toast.
Snack: More donuts.
Dinner: Cauliflower and potato bake thing (homemade) with 2 nut cutlets (Goodlife frozen).
Dessert: Banana custard
I still have donuts. Guess I'd better eat them otherwise they'll go stale. :)
