Banana pancakes with sliced banana on top and vegan butter. MMmmmm.

D: Cauliflower cheese (OMG it was lush!) never made one before. I used the leaves of cauliflower too and added some mushrooms and onions then served it with jacket spud. *rubs tummy*

Today (Wednesday):

Breakfast: S'mores Luna bar. Banana. Small handful of smoked almonds. Coffee w/soycreamer.

Lunch: purple sweet potato chipotle soup. 1/2 a ww wrap of tofu, purple cabbage, bean sprouts, lettuce. 1/3 of a peice of lemon cake. :) tea.

(lunch from Spa Cafe http://www.spacafe.com/menu/ )

Dinner: sister made homemade mac and cheese :thumbsup: (actually with ww penne) and a nutritional yeast sauce. Had some shredded carrots and a raw tomato on the side. gatorade.

Avocado, tomato and cress sandwich on white bread.
Banana.
Soya milk hot chocolate.
Two slices of white toast, one with margarine. One fried tomato. Two fried mushrooms. Ketchup.
Linda McCartney pie. Peas.
One can of beer.

Cold Lentil bake with mixed salad and 2 slices WM bread with Pure

A Chocolate Crackle bar

Home made Leek and potato soup with 2 slices WM bread

caramel soya dessert

pomegranate, I did not like this much so I did not eat all of it.

Lots of decaff tea with soya milk.

L: salad w/ lettuce, carrot, tomato, cucumber, avocado & lemon juice
A: 2 narnas, 1 w/ some raw choc-coconut spread, water
D: zucchini noodles w/ spicy peanut coconut sauce, red capsicum, baby corn, tomato & mushies, wate w/ lemon

M: 2 narnas, green smoothie (baby spinach, 2 narnas)
L: salad w/ lettuce, carrot, tom, cuc, avocado w/ lemon juice
A: tea w rice milk, spoonful of peanut butter
D: 8 rice paper rolls filled w/ raw carrot, tomato, cuc, mushies, lettuce & sweet chilli sauce, 1 pce of raw peppermint chocolate

yesterday (Thursday)

Breakfast: Coffee w/soycreamer. S'mores flavored Luna bar.

second breakfast: small handful smoked almonds. banana. vanilla rice yogurt. leftover vegan lemon cake.

Lunch: leftover 1/2 of a wrap - grilled tofu, bean sprouts, purple cabbage in a ww tortilla (from spa cafe)

second lunch: random thai soup rice noodle bowl (label was gone, i think it was spring onion and lemongrass)

Dinner: gatorarde. handful of cashews. Tofurky itallian sausage w/mustard. shredded carrots. pepperoccini. hard cider. 1 cracker w/tofutti cream cheese. few peices of ciabatta w/hummus.

This sounds more like the "What did you eat yesterday?" thread.

I ate a lot today. I know it's almost 5a.m., but I haven't gone to bed, so it still counts as today.

For breakfast/lunch, I had cinnamon oatmeal and peanut butter and jelly sandwich on The Vermont Company whole wheat bread (yum!!!). For dinner, I went out to Bus Boys & Poets, a social justice-oriented restaurant that labels its vegan items. Entrée was a delicious pizza called "The Vegan." Dessert was vegan blueberry cheesecake. The best dessert I've ever had! It was smaller than everyone else's humongous chocolate cake, but it still filled me up fast... by the end, it was making me feel sick! I gave the rest of the blueberries away because I couldn't take it anymore!

L: 2 narnas, one with some choc-coconut spread, tea w/ rice milk
D: went to a restaurant for dinner where I was totally surprised but their creativity when asked to cook for a vegan, I had a really good salad w/ mixed lettuce and baby spinach, tomato, avocado, olive oil & balsamic then an awesome vegetable stack with bok choy, zucchini, roasted capsicum, tomatoes, red cabbage, saffron and dill, plus some lemony herb mashed potatoes, peppermint tea.

Lunch (when I woke up):

Three pita pockets, each with chipotle hummus, balsamic vinegar tomatoes, crumbled tofu, all along for the ride...
side of broccoli and carrots, raw
bowl of tomato - veg - bean soup (the comfort of campbells, but with the taste of home cooking!)

Dinner:

mushroom barley
curry rice w/ pearl onions
sauteed zucchini, squash, and onion
raw broccoli
bowl of tomato - veg - bean soup
more mushroom barley
two pear halves (I guess that makes a whole pear!)

I've been thinking about having some peanut butter on bread or a cookie or something, but I'm not really hungry! Then I got a little hungry and thought I should have some nuts since it was midnight except I should get to sleep. Ta!

(Incidentally, I believe almonds are a good source of magnesium, as well as calcium, and fortified non-dairy milk would have a load of calcium all in one go without chewing a ton of almonds (but the almonds have stuff like magnesium too). I have read/heard that these are good for sleep, at least the calcium, I think the magnesium goes with that or something, I don't remember, I didn't hear/read all of it. I'll pay more attention tomorrow morning after I do my calculus. :P

Saturday

brunch: tofu scramble seasoned with tumeric, cumin, dehydrated onions, and garlic salt and cooked in a tsp of earth balance. eaten on 1 peice ww toast. coffee w/soycreamer.

dinner: chips and salsa. tortilla w/refried black beans, green and black olives, green salsa and tomato salsa.
