breakfast: toasted sandwich of tofurkey, tofutti american & vidalia mustard relish on wheat, an orange, mint mocha latte w/ soy

lunch: falafel hummus pita w/ lettuce, tomato, pickle, parsley & tahini, french fries w/ ketchup, silk nog

dinner: shepherd's pie (mashed potatoes over veggies, tofu & gravy), carrot slaw w/ raisins & celery seed

later: Anchor Christmas Ale

Breakfast: Wholemeal bread with no sugar added apricot jam, raspberry and passion fruit soya yogurt, soya cappuccino.

Lunch: Salad with lettuce, rocket, green olives, tomatoes, artichoke hearts and borlotti beans

Dinner: Made a Yule/birthday dinner for friends and inlaws maybe-to-be, we had:

- starter of hummus and tapenade with raw veggies (red and yellow peppers, cucumber and carrot, cut with Japanese vegetable cutters) and rice crackers

- Mushroom and cashew nut biriyani, steamed green beans with toasted sesame and pumpkin seeds

- Coconut and almond dessert (kind of coconut mousse garnished with fruits of the forest and toasted almonds)

- Carrot cake

- Coffee and limoncello (lemon liqueur)

The vegan food got rave reviews from the non-vegans present :D :cool:

Wow, Fiamma! They must have been impressed!

Breakfast:
-Cream of wheat with vanilla soymilk
-Apple
-Pear

Snack:
Baby carrots dipped in roasted red pepper hummus

Peppermint tea

Lunch: (I was so hungry, so I had random leftovers)
-Fat free refried beans
-Apple
-Salad (romaine, baby carrots, red peppers, low fat raspberry vinaigrette dressing)
-Cookies n cream soy ic cream

Snack:
-Apple

Dinner:
-onion and mushroom seitan stirfry over millet
-Salad (romaine, red peppers, tomato, baby carrots, LF rasp. vinaigrette)
-Pear

Later: popcorn with EB and a pear

I just finished the seitan and I have a wierd headache. I'm wondering if I'm sensitive to it, but I eat frozen "chick'n" patties and stuff a lot and don't get headaches.

Wow Fiamma - you can come and cook a dinner party for me, anytime! :D

Today was an awful eating day - I didn't have time to stop and eat all day, so I kind of went crazy when I got home because I was sooooo hungry!

2 cups of coffee with Silk creamer.

1 blueberry bagel with Tofutti cream cheese and Cloudberry Jam.

2 pieces of dark chocolate.

1 Amy's Enchellada Meal.

12 seasoned potato wedges (oven baked) with Tofutti sour cream.

2 pieces of Turkish Delight.

2 Chocolate/Peppermint Thins.

2 Hobnobs.

1 cup of Holiday Chai.

Thanks Roxy and Veggiegirl :) I love cooking and will gladly cook you guys dinner anytime, we just all have to get together in the same place geographically :D Your days sounded good though.

arugula, tomato and sunflower salad with balsamic vingar and olive oil dressing

four-seed bread with homemade red lentil-pepper spread

Wow! I just realized that I need to cut back on my salt consumption a bit!

Breakfast:
-Oatmeal with soymilk and brown sugar
-Orange
-Apple

Lunch:
-Amy's frozen Tofu Scramble with hash browns
-Apple
-Banana Nut Cliff Bar

Dinner:
-Raw veggies: sugar snap peas, baby carrots, red peppers, green beans
-Yves' "Beef burger" with ketchup
-Leftover millet with Bragg's
Dessert: Pear

Later: Probably some Life cereal with soymilk

Today:

1 cup of coffee with Silk creamer.

1 bowl of breakfast cereal (sorry - forgot what it was called - but it consisted of cornflakes and dried blueberries) with vanilla soy milk.

1 six inch veggie sub with sweet onion sauce from Subway and
a small bag of plain lays.

Home-made vegan nachos (organic tortilla chips, Amy's chilli, vegan cheese, Tofutti sour cream, guacamole and organic salsa)

Christmas pudding with vanilla soy icecream and Soyatoo cream.

A few cocktails (malibu, pineapple juice, 7up and grenadine)

ah christmas..
brekkie i had a big fruit salad and a cup of tea with soyamilk and 2 sugars.
chrissy lunch, potato salad, curried rice, huge salad, alot of punch, wine and softdrinks. two slices of chrissy cake (I made a vegan cake for the family, it was a big hit!) some rye bread and rice crakers.
dinner: leftover salad.

fruit salad containing banana, apple, pear, orange + kiwi fruit

earl grey tea + soya milk
2 lebkuchen

butternut squash soup with fried sage
chestnut risotto + brussels sprouts with oranges
baked apple stuffed with raisins, nuts + chocolate, served with vanilla ice-cream

Breakfast ; Homemade granary bread with walnuts, toasted and topped with tinned tomatoes and lots of pepper!
Present opening : Bucks fizz!
Late Dinner; Homemade mushroom soup followed by Chestnut and cranberry loaf encased in puff pastry, served with cranberry and orange stuffing, hassleback potatoes, sprouts, asparagus spears and a rich onion and cranberry gravy. Couldn't manage the vegan Christmas pudding and soya custard, but will probably attempt that later! (Unless the vegan cheesecake wins!)
Later on when we've recovered from dinner ; not sos rolls, mushroom vol a vents, pasta and bean salad, fresh salad, more wine, and maybe some Booja Booja vegan truffles!

Well, it is Christmas!!!!!

Christmas Day:

Breakfast: Slice of toast with peanut butter. Slice of toast with chocolate spread. 2 mince tarts (with homemade mixed nut pastry)

Lunch: Redwoods cheatin roast turkey, sausage wrapped in bacon, cranberry and chestnut stuffing, roast potatoes, roast sweet potato, roast parsnip, roast carrot, roast sweet pepper, roast onion, steamed spring greens, steamed sprouts, steamed leeks, steamed purple sprouting broccoli, Applefords low salt gravy (with parsley and sage added in), mint sauce, horseradish sauce. Toni had bread sauce with hers - bleeurrgghh! Just realised I forgot the cranberry sauce :eek:

Pudding (quite a bit later ;)): Christmas pud with homemade brandy sauce.

Supper and snacks: Roast chestnuts in their shells. 2 mince tarts with brandy sauce.

All washed down with lashings of alcohol.:cool:


Wow - a Christmas day without any chocolate (excluding the choc spread):eek:

today (with very vegan intolerant relatives, so mainly eating accompaniments):

coffee + soya milk
soya yogurt, banana, kiwi fruit + walnuts

roast potatoes
red cabbage
brussels sprouts

coffee + soya milk
2 tangerines
lebkuchen

dinner will be:
potato salad
some other kind of salad (leaves, tomatoes, cucumber etc.)
possibly some chocolate

-Grilled tempeh with ketchup
-Millet cooked in veg. broth
-Salad (romaine, baby carrots, green beans, snow peas, low fat rasp vinaigrette dressing)
-Butter pecan soy ice cream

Breakfast: Salad (about 1.5 servings since the bag had that much left), with mushroom slices, pickle slices and chopped green onions to top. And some leftover "white cake" (Name on recipe. I think it's just a vegan version of Angel Cake, really) I had made for Christmas. And a Banana.

Snack: 1/3 cup mashed potatoes to stave off bizarre hunger strike. Another banana.

Lunch: 1/4 cup rice topped with pickels and some spice from the cabinet.

And dinner...I haven't had yet. Probably tomato soup.

2 wildberry buckwheat waffles with maple syrup.

quarter of a cup of macadamia nuts.

Mexicali Pasta (http://www.catteacorner.com/vegan-e.htm#pastamexicali) which I made into a pasta bake, by putting it into a lasange dish, sprinkling it with breadcrumbs and grated vegan cheese and baking it in the oven.

a few vegan chocolates (about 4 or 5)

-candied carrots, creamed corn, mashed potatoes, yorkshire pudding, stuffing, nut roast, cranberry sauce and gravy
-orange juice
dessert:
-mandarin orange pieces dipped in vegan fondue chocolate mmm
-more orange juice

ive been drinking way too much orange juice in the past couple of days, but i need the vitamin c.

today ill probably just eat lots of leftovers.
