I've missed reading this thread! I was in California for a week and did my best to stay off the computer. The food highlight of my trip was eating at Cafe Gratitude in Berkeley, that place is great. The lowlight was being sick the day we were supposed to visit San Francisco :( I vomited in the bathroom of an In n' Out Burger and was too weak to stay for more than a few hours.

Anywho, yesterday was the loooong plane ride back. From when we got up to when we landed I ate:

-chocolate brownie z bar
-pb&j on white bread
-bagel
-teriyaki primal strips jerky
-gingerale
-snack mix they gave us on the plane
-jelly beans
-another bagel

dinner was a bean burrito and seven layer burrito at taco bell on the ride from the airport. and some of the bf's pepsi. soon as we got home we went out for new year's where I enjoyed a couple beers and a glass of champagne. I am so ready to get back to my normal eating habits...

Hi Veggiegirl... it's not that hard to make. The top was just potato and sweet potato mashed with some soy milk and vegan marg and salt & pepper and the bottom was a tin of brown lentils, carrots, onion, mushrooms, some nutritional yeast and thickened with some gravy powder. ... just bake in oven for about 30 mins so top is crisp and golden. Trouble is, now i have a big casserole dish of it to eat ... shame we don't live closer - thank goodness for the dogs!
