Yes the white bean and black olive salad was yum - I dont eat alot of salads as I'm not very imaginative with them - I just love olives though :)

Wildflower, what is a black apple? Is it an apple with a naturally black skin? I don't think I've ever seen one of those before.

My 30 days raw started yesterday :D
Here's what I've eaten so far:
Yesterday:
breakfast: wha guru chew (non-raw vegan energy bar because I had NO raw food in my house, having just spent the last 2 weeks in Ontario)
snack: 16 oz fresh squeezed orange juice. A few raw macadamia nuts
lunch: herb salad of parsley, cilantro, avocado and onions, mixed with a blended mixture of almonds, tahini, onion, agave nectar, lemon juice, olive oil and salt. It was so yummy and I was soooo full after!
supper (I was still a bit full from lunch): carrot sticks with a "cheesy" dip of tahini, lemon juice, agave nectar, garlic and salt. It really tasted cheesy!
Today:
breakfast: 9 fresh squeezed oranges mixed with 2 fresh squeezed grapefruits
lunch: zucchini fettuccini (I just peeled zucchini "noodles" with a peeler) with a DELICIOUS sauce of tahini, pine nuts, water, parsley, olive oil and agave nectar. I could eat this every day!!!
snack: 16 oz orange juice (I'm glad there's a juice bar on campus!)
supper: will be beet ravioli with herb cheese spread (http://www.therawtable.com/recipecoll/ravioli.htm), and probably some fruit for dessert, maybe apples dipped in agave nectar

nettle tea
2 bottles water
roast veg - courgette, tomatoes,GARLIC :D peppers red and green, aubergine and cous cous

alpro choc pud..alpro carton choc milk..few dates..

Emma, we all have those days where we think we ate bad. :p But in reality it isn't. Imagine, there are some people out there and their days look like this:
breakfast: fried eggs and bacon
lunch: mcdonald's hamburger, fries, extra large Coke
snack: package of gummy candies
supper: chinese take-out...egg rolls, fried rice, chicken balls
So in comparison to that, it's not bad! :D

Usually I like to blend a banana into it for extra sweetness, but my bananas are still green. I don't find it too acidic, it's actually a very satisfying breakfast :).
