I was craving a taco salad ALL DAY today. One with veggie chili on it. I'm thinking I might get the ingredients and have it tomorrow.
Isn't it funny how people crave the same things? My boyfriend wanted that today actually, and then when I got the idea it sounded great. :D
Roxy - now that I shared what a black apple is, you have to tell me what the heck "peaches and cream corn" is? Or did you put peaches, as well as cream corn in your salad? :p

Roxy - I was back at the store today with the black apples...and I checked again, and they were actually called Arkansas Black apples -> http://www.recipetips.com/glossary-term/t--38152/arkansas-black.asp
Apparently, they will keep up to 6 months if refridgerated, so I guess that's why it did so well for 2 weeks in my hot apartment.
