canned peaches and oatmeal with soy milk and maple syrup and sprinkle of nuts
veggie burger wrapped in lettuce with mustard and ketsup
whole wheat pasta with marinara sauce, mushrooms, and veggie "crumble"
fruit smoothie (I'm starting to love these in the afternoon - just the right protein/fruit sugar boost without making me crash)
beans and spices mashed and spread on light bread
a little dark chocolate and some sourdough pretzls if I feel like snacks
Seems like a lot of food but I eat in small portions, mini-meals :D.

Hello Coffee lovers, Anybody knows about gourmet coffee pod? The advantage with the gourmet coffee pod is that one can simply drop the pod in the cup and add water. :)

It's a type of orange. It must be a cross between something...a tangerine maybe? I'm not sure, but they are very good. The skin is easy to peel, they are juicy and you might find only 1 (if any) seeds.

I asked my boyfriend (he's a produce manager in a grocery store) and he said we call them a minneola tangelo here. I've never had one. I'm curious now!

Called in sick to work today w/ migraine. When I was actually out of bed and not cleaning/interneting I was eating:
Grape-Nuts with rice milk
2 cups of Whole Foods Lentil Soup and 2 slices of bread, one with some sort of healthy margarine
Maybe 1 cup of rice dream with lentils cooked with molasses, cinnamon, and dried fig on top
1/2 cup roasted mushrooms
I am going to gain back all the weight I lost with this stomach bug.

I don't really care to share all that I ate today, but for dinner I decided that I ought to use the soy butter in the fridge (been there for quite some time but I almost never use it) so I made: Cinnamon buttered toast! I used to love it as an omni.
2 slices whole wheat bread
Reasonable amount of Earth Balance soy "butter" spread on both slices
Sprinkle cinnamon over top of soy butter and put in (horizontal) toaster.
The soy butter and cinnamon mix and sink into the bread and it tastes delicious.
I suppose if you have a vertical toaster it won't work as well, but it can be tweaked. :)
