Today: Coffee, Apple and Cinnamon Oatmeal, way too much stir-fry (pea pods, red peppers, onions, mushrooms, baby corn, and brocolli), and a veggie egg roll (obviously not all eaten at the same time...that wouldn't be a very good combinaiton)
I'm making up for my awful day of eating yesterday that included a whole package of guacamole and a bag of tositos chips, a few pb&j sandwiches, among other non-healthy snacks like cookies :)

lunch: roasted veggies (new potato, squash, onion, green beans), baked wheat macaroni & "cheese", cranberry & almond chocolate
the rest of the day was very random:
- 12 pieces sushi (cucumber, carrot & avocado)
- coke cherry zero
- a beer and a couple french fries
- soft pretzel
- cracker jacks
- peanuts (yes, I was at a baseball game. how cliche.)
- rum & pepsi
- seven layer burrito minus dairy
- more beer
looks WAY worse when it's all typed out! eep.

- Apple Blueberry Crunchola w/ Soy Milk. Mandarin Green Tea
- Cantaloupe & OJ
- Big Salad of Mixed Greens, Corn Kernels, Carrot, Cucumber, Tomato, Avocado dressed in Olive oil & Herb Salt. Coffee w/ Soy Milk
- Vegie Burger on a Bun w/ Avocado, Tomato & Mixed Greens w/ lots of Ketchup
- Glass of Soy Milk
Damn that all sounds good:( *stomach bug*
Today I had around 2 glasses of rice milk. Kasha made with rice milk molasses and coconut milk. And gatorade.
I started to get a migraine as I was eating and checked the label on the coconut milk. Sulfites. Perfect.
My Mann also got me (besides the Gatorade) some vegetable broth. But I guess he forgot the rice milk. That is okay, it's hard to complain when you are passing out.
For those of you don't don't post when you eat bad, I think it would be fun to see what vegans get into :p

i've been eating really badly at the moment because i'm feeling quite low. today i had:
2 slices toast with chilli bean spread, coffee
pasta salad with spinach and tomatoes, water
some green grapes
a big fry-up (sausages, veg bacon, baked beans, fried mushrooms, chips)
yesterday was bad too:
2 slices toast with marmalade, coffee
houmous and cucumber in pitta bread, orange juice
falafel with tomato sauce and rice, shandy :p
chocolate Swedish Glace ice cream
it's bad because it's all convenience stuff that doesn't take much effort to prepare, i really can't be bothered to make myself any decent food right now. :(

I had the new Amy's VEGAN GLUTEN FREE Spinach Pizza, made with soycheese and ricecrust the other night.
It was SOOOOO good. I was very impressed, as I was never big on Amy's pizzas anyway. the only thing was it was very rich, and I was absolutely stuffed after eating 1/2 the tiny thing...

Just got back from a romantic few days in Umbria and Assisi (the city with the Basilica of Saint Francis) - absolutely amazing! There were all these beautiful images of St. Francis with birds and wolves, and the city had a very intimate feel, very welcoming, despite the fact that it rained solid all Friday! :D The food was amazing too and I had various dishes I'd never tried:
Spaghetti with black cabbage
Spelt and beans in tomato sauce
Pasta with tomato and apple sauce
Back to work now *sigh*

That sounds like a good day witchy! Your supper seems really healthy with so many vegetables. And your porridge sounds yummy with all the seeds mixed in. Have you ever tried it with raisins, craisins and walnuts? SO GOOD!
I didn't eat much today because I was probably still full from yesterday's supper (a big bowl of "Tina's Healthy Kale and Brown Rice" and some vegetable gyozas, then 2 chocolate bars for dessert :o )
Today:
Breakfast: bowl of shredded wheat with soymilk and turbinado sugar. More chocolate from last night lol.
Snack: a few carrots and celery sticks with CC's vegan ranch dressing, YUM!
Supper: half a Subway sub: veggie on white with lettuce, onion, cucumber, green pepper, and mustard - then I added my own veggie bologna and salami and vegenaise, YUM!
Snack: cup of English breakfast tea with soymilk and turbinado sugar.
I can't believe I'm full! And I went for a long bike ride today too.

Did you bake the bread in a breadmaker or in an oven? I'd love to make my own bread. :)

sprite, i baked it in the oven. it's a pain that way, but i can't find the paddle thing to my breadmaker so i am forced to be old fashioned. there is something satisfying, though, about kneading your own bread, watching it rise and then eating the finished product. there are so many things that could go wrong, so the whole time you're thinking "I hope it's okay. I hope it's okay." and you just don't know until you cut into it :)

Today I've had toasted homemade roll with marge and yeast extract for breakfast.

Also about 5 cups of coffee and some Rock's organic orange squash.
Hmm, I'm not remotely approaching my five-a-day so far today. I'll probably have a smoothie in a little while.
