Today:
1 cup of Earl Grey tea with soy milk.
1 bowl of cornflakes with strawberries & vanilla soy milk.
1 Sandwich: wholewheat bread, Earthbalance, tomato relish, Yves "chicken" patty.
1 maple granola bar.
1 cup of coffee with Silk creamer.
About 1 litre of water throughout the day.
1 cup of diet Sprite.
Salad: organic mixed leaves, organic radish, cucumber, tomato, avocado, finely chopped Yves "beef" tenders, almonds and organic orange/cranberry dressing.
1 cup of maple/vanilla tea.
3 pieces of Turkish Delight.

Yesterday:
About 1/4 loaf of organic multi-seed bread, toasted with loads of peanut butter and strawberry jam :o
1 banana.
Chick pea curry with spicy rice and a tandoori roti (at an indian restaurant in the city).
1 apple.
1 pear.
Bunch of grapes.
Vanilla-pecan and chocolate icecream with melted organic plamil chocolate (lots) :D
Not a particularly healthy day, but hey, it's the weekend! :rolleyes:

I'm starting to eat healthily again (after a couple of months finishing off christmas chocolates, eating cakes, making far too much tiffin etc!) and i want to shed the extra half stone i put on from it!
I've decided writing down what i eat on this thread will help me, and you can all tell me if i'm being unhealthy! Hehe.
So yesterday i had:
B: None as i got up at 1 :o (not a very good start to eating healthily!)
L: Red pepper, carrot, cucumber and Hummous sandwich on multigrain bread with grated scheese.
S: Parsnip crisps.
Water throughout the day!
D: Pasta, mushroom sauce, stir fried courgette, carrot, red pepper, onion, mushroom and sweetcorn.
Couple of glasses of wine :rolleyes:

breakfast: kashi golean w/ soymilk, coffee
snack: diet dr. pepper
lunch: boiled peanuts, steamed asparagus, sauteed mushrooms, red peppers & corn, fruit salad (pear, banana, strawberries)
snack: cranberry apple tea
dinner: tortilla chips & salsa, burrito w/ grilled onions & peppers, mexican rice, refried beans, beer
after: red wine

Breakfast: Oat milk cappuccino, muesli with oat milk, banana, apple
2 cups of green chai tea doing the ironing :)
Lunch: Salad, vegetable soup, apple, orange. A little bit of sesame halva.
Dinner: Vegan haggis with mashed potato and spinach. Apple. A couple of squares of chocolate.

Yes I do :) This was my first attempt today and it did take a while to do, but it was worth every minute, very very yummy indeed! I'll PM you the recipe :)

Fiamma, I don't suppose you could share your recipe with me too? :) I've never tried vegan haggis, but would like to give it a shot sometime!
Today, I had:
Peanut butter & jam on toast (again... no surprises there) :o
Banana
Strong coffee with soya milk
Half an apple, half a pear and handful of grapes
1 square of organic Plamil chocolate
Stir-fried veggies with soy-sauce and sliced avocado and tomato
Banana and an apple.
Almost half of a 12" pizza with mushrooms, peppers, spinach, olives & tofu.

Breakfast: (I had a sweet tooth!)
A giant pancake with a little bit of EB and maple syrup
An apple
A pear
Lunch:
A veggie burger with Nayonaise and ketchup on ww toast
Baby carrots
an apple
1/2 a cup of Tofutti Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream (it was only ok)
Later: Dinner:
It will most likely be tofu Lin, couscous with EB and Bragg's, salad, and a peach, but I'm not totally sure

huge bowl lentlil soup
scallion & dill biscuit w/earth balance
cup chocolate chai tea
1/2 grapefruit, 1/2 orange, 1/2 green apple, freshly juiced
homeade tvp burger w/ ketchup
oven fries (yoggy's recipe)
salad ( mixed greens, beets, mushroom, artichoke, roasted garlic, carrot, tomato w/ lemon & chive creamy dressing)
cup yerba mate tea
cup darjeeling tea
3 homeade pnb cookies

Typical meal for me since I am dieting down for a bodybuilding contest. I try to not take in any fruit during this time, supplement with protein powder drinks, and if I want to eat something to fill me up it is plain popcorn (yuck) with lots of water (otherwise I get all bound up :p ).
Meal 1: Veglife's Supreme Meal shake. 7 AM
Meal 2: Power Porridge (CandleCafe's recipe with Millet, Amaranth, Steel-cut Oats, and Qunioa as my power grains) with flaxseed oil (1 Tablespoon) and Agave nectar (1 Tablespoon). 9 AM
Meal 3: Pea Protein shake/Pure Advantage, 1 scoop. 1/3 bag of Mann's pea pods. Veglife's vitamin and mineral supplement and Grapeseed Extract capsule (vegan capsule). 12 AM
Meal 4: Salad of Mixed Greens (Earthbound), 5 slices of oven roasted Tofurky slices (cut up), broccoli sprouts, and Spectrum's new Omega 3 salad dressing of Balsamic Vinegarette. 3 PM
Meal 5: Pea Protein shake/1 scoop. 1/3 bag of the Mann's pea pods, and some carrots (5 baby ones). 5 PM
Meal 6: Tempeh with brown rice and stirfy vegetables (sweet peppers, baby carrots, kale, onions, ginger, garlic, olive oil, tumeric, tamari of course!). 7 PM
Finish bag of Mann's pea pods (1/3 bag) for dessert! 9 PM
3 liters of water in between meals.
45 minutes of cardio or 1 1/2 hour of a yoga class (vinyasa style) in the morning after the first meal.
1 to 1 1/2 hour of lifting weights in the afternoon between Meal 4 and Meal 5

Homemade hummus which was absolutely disgusting :o I absolutely hate waste though so I ate it all, made me feel so sick I haven't wanted to eat anything else all day !!
I think I put too much tahini in it.

On sundays I eat more and actually get to make a yummy breakfast.

Oatmeal Banana Raisin Waffles from Vegan with a Vengance

1/2 banana
Lunch:
Hummus and chips
salad with beans, corn, and celery
Dinner:
Kung Pao Tofu
Broccoli, boy choy and steamed spinach
brown rice
Snacks:
Lots of chocolate soymilk, nuts, orange and vegan cookie

jacket potato with three-bean salad
and for dinner i'm making broccoli and cashew nut stir fry, with probably red peppers, spinach and cabbage. got to get a chilli on the way home :)

breakfast: two pieces wheat toast w/ earth balance & strawberry jam, a peach
lunch: chef salad (iceberg mix, red, yellow & green peppers, cucumber, grape tomato, scallions, sliced tofurkey & tofutti american cheese, goddess dressing), corn on the cob
snack: smoothie (mango, pineapple, banana, soymilk)
dinner: coconut almond red curry (mushrooms, red & orange peppers, snow peas, spinach & basil) over fettuccine, ginger pickled cucumbers, a beer
dessert: two vanilla cupcakes w/ fudgy icing (my first attempt from vegan cupcakes take over the world...turned out very well!)

Yesterday -
Brunch - sandwhich of soy bacon, dijon mustard, tomato slices, sliced red cabbage. glass of Perrier w/Orange juice plus calcium.
Lunch/dinner - homemade black bean veggie chili (recipe from Vegetarian Professional Cooking) with yellow corn tortilla chips
Snacks - homemade vanilla cupcake (recipe from Vegan Cupcakes take over the World) w/Praline Cream (recipe from Vegetarian Professional Cooking) and some fresh strawberries. Salsa w/black beans and diced avacados eaten w/yellow corn tortilla chips.

Today -
Breakfast - 1/2 sandwich made of whole wheat toast, 2 slices soybacon, tomato slices, shredded red cabbage. fresh strawberries w/praline cream. cup of tea w/soymilk (which I basically didn't drink much of, cause I had to hurry and run out the door for something...:rolleyes: ).
Late morning snack - large english toffee mocha made w/soymilk. Kinda ruined my appetite for lunch... :( I had 2 grape suckers (lollies) later in the day...
Dinner - small flour tortilla w/black beans, crushed tomatoes, shredded red cabbage, avacado slices and green olives. another tortilla eaten with shredded red cabbage and green olives. few spoonfuls of veggie chilli, but I was full.
I haven't had much appetite lately...:confused: I promised my boyfriend I would make him chocolate cupcakes later tonight too...sooooo, I may have to "taste test" one of those! :D
