Vegan friendly restaurants in Canada

I am always on the lookout for vegan/vegetarian or v/v-friendly restaurants in the Ontario area. One tragedy has been the recent closing of Xin Vego in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. I suggest this thread as a place where interested eaters can share ideas about dining out. Here's my first suggestion, which is not too far from Fort Erie, Ontario. It's Thai Bistro, near the corner of Sheridan Drive and Niagara Falls Blvd just outside Buffalo ( I believe it's in Amherst). I look forward to more great ideas.

I had no idea we had a vegan friendly restaurant in Niagara Falls.

Second Bowl Vietnamese Cuisine on Lundy's Lane in Niagara Falls has some vegan options. Lots of curry/rice/noodle dishes with tofu as an option.

At the corner of Main Street and Barker Street in Niagara Falls, there's a new cafe which will soon have vegan food options. They have soymilk for the (hemp) coffee, which is a great start. It's an older building, but the dreadhead that runs it is very cool and there's good magazines, Scrabble, great decor and excellent funk beats.
I wish I could remember the name of it - it's driving me insane.

I'd like to add to the list of New Brunswick Vegan-Friendly restaurants -
First of all Calatus is alot better for vegetarians (lacto-ovos) and generally soaks everything in oil (my gluten-free tortilla was dripping with oil). Regardless, they do have some nice choices.

Secondly, here are a few other places that love to cater to Vegans:

I just want to add 2 places I've been to in Quebec City:
Le Commensal on rue St Jean
and Restaurant Zen (Japanese) on boulevard Rene Levesque Ouest.

They're both vegetarian restaurants but there's plenty of choice for vegans. It's a bit hit and miss with Commensal I think, but I think Zen is very good.

I just returned from Montreal, and ate at two notable places.

Le Commensal (which has been mentioned). For those not familiar with it, it is a cafeteria/buffet style where you pay by weight. It is vegetarian, but the vegan options are clearly marked and there are many options. I ate two meals here and found it to be a bit expensive for food that was good, but not great. There were multiple types of vegan pate, many salads, tofu/tomato based stews, ginger tofu, soy based cheesecake, etc.

Aux Vivres (located on Saint-Laurent). This place was all vegan and had many tasty looking options. I had their macro bowl w/grilled tempeh and a coffee frappe and thought it was all excellent. There were many options on the menu that I wanted to try, and would definitely go back if I returned to Montreal. Other menu options included sandwiches on chapati, seitan slouvaki, veggie curries, vegan desserts (including truffles), pates, fresh juices, etc. There portions are large and the price is moderate.
