View Full Version : Grilled Sweet Potatoes

Wash sweet potato (wash & peel if not organic)

Cut into 1/4 inch thick slices (warning: make sure you have a good, sharp & sturdy knife...raw sweet potatoes are like rocks - to make it easier, you can boil whole potato for 10 mins if you don't have a good knife.)

Put into large bowl with olive oil & spices (I use chilli powder & minced jalapenos, or taco seasoning)

Toss around in bowl to give each side a nice coating of the mixture.

Put onto grill for 15 - 20 minutes or until tender (I use a george foreman electric grill but you can put them onto the bbq or in the oven).

Serve with favorite condiment, dressing or sauce. I like them with ketchup and a bit of sea salt, my boyfriend LOVES them with italian dressing!

You can do the same thing with white potatoes.
