i grow everything organically. i have lots of nettles at the top of the garden. does anyone want them for soup or can anyone give me a good recipe for nettle wine???

Secondly how does one get rid of woodlice humanly and organically.

i have a bed with lots of them. I want to plant there but they eat the roots etc. and the plant dies.

regards

If you have lots of nettles you can cut them, let them dry out and use them as a soil conditioner, or put them all in a barrel and let them ferment for liquid feed. I just cut them when they're not seeding and put them on the ground. I don't think you should cut them more than twice a year, or they'll start to die off.

I must admit, I do rather like woodlice, even though they ate some of my strawberries. There's something so charming about an animal living in a strawberry. Sorry, no help though.
