My favorite breakfast is:
French Toast
Scrambled Tofu
waffles w/ whipped cream
Soy Sausage
Orange Juice

I've had this once. At Soul Vegetarian East.

But I have French Toast as often as I can.

Today I had:

They are well nice with oat milk even if they do have a slightly silly name.

^I can't see anything. I'm assuming it's my silly computer and that you didn't have blank space w/ oat milk!

Hmmm. It is supposed to be a picture of a box of Fru-Grains which look a bit like chunky sticks but taste yummy. They can be found here (http://www.goodnessdirect.co.uk/cgi-local/frameset/detail/799512_Mapletons_Fru_Grains_320g.html) and are pretty widely available in the UK, not sure about anywhere else.

Porridge. Now that it's moving into summer, I just switch to quick oats.

there used to be this little hippie restaurant on capital hill called "the global"...
my favorite breakfast of all time will always be their [vegan] biscuits and gravy. i never even knew they were vegan (until i became vegan and asked)!

At the moment I am kinda stuck on cornflakes, blueberries and soy milk, with ground flax seeds added to help keep my skin all healthy and shiny.
If I had the time and the energy first thing in the morning, I'd have pancakes or waffles. Maybe when the school term has finished in a couple of weeks. Any recommendations for good waffle recipes?

If I have time, mushrooms fried in (garlic) margarine in a toasty. Om nom nom..

Or muesli with fresh sliced fruit and lots of Oatly milk.

I usually can't have much of anything substantial when I first wake up--I suppose years of skipping breakfast during school (and sleeping in too late on non-school days to have breakfast) have thrown my stomach a bit out of whack, and a big breakfast makes me feel very ill. Lately I've been trying, though--I usually have three 16-oz bottles of water (trying to get in my 8 glasses a day), plus a snack-size cup of natural applesauce or a cup of puffed Kashi with a little soy milk and a packet of sweetener. I know sweetener's not exactly healthy, but lately the thought of sugar disgusts me. Which reminds me to ask, does anyone know if Splenda (0-calorie sweetener made from cane sugar) is vegan?

what about demerara sugar

have been experimenting with different flavored pancakes. It's always been such a messy hassle, but now I have a non-stick "griddle" (just a flat skillet) and it is shocking how easy they are.

plain:
just mix together flour and soy milk until it's a thick liquid. Add a Tbs baking powder and sugar. stir them up and pour 1/2 c at a time onto the hot skillet.

so far have topped with jam and chocolate chips... Also added corn (minus sugar) for corn cakes, or cooked potato chunks for potato cakes...
