Cool! Thank you, CC. Those both sound really good. I'll have to experiment more. :)

Cool, Artichoke!
How could I forget the Nutritional Yeast and Miso! They go into the Savory Congee after it has been cooked too... :)

Home made Soya yoghurt, pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, blueberries, Dr. McKeith's Living Food Energy powder, Udo's choice all mixed in a big bowl........sometimes with some maple syrup if I'm feeling like something sweet!

I've been eating a lot of 5 grain hot cereal or hummus on toast. I think I'm ready to try something different though...getting a little boring.

If it's during the week, I prefer leftovers for breakfast. Either that or some type of whole grain with preserves stirred in.

If it's the week-ends, I love a tofu scramble with fried potatoes, whole wheat toast and slices of tomato and/or avocado on the side.

Do you think that Silk Soy's chocolate is too fattening?

scrambled tofu. not the kind that you buy the mix for, but using your own spices and fresh veggies along with the tofu. hashbrowns are pretty close up there for me too though.

Recipe PLEASE!!!

Heavens, no! I say it is her "guilty pleasure" because it has a lot of sugar in it and it's the only thing besides the occasional organic dark chocolate that I buy packaged as a "treat" for my daughter, really...we have lots of homemade goodies though!

I make corn-oatbran muffins that are 1/2 oat bran with flax and hemp protein powder that are "meals in a muffin" for snacking on. She eats these for an after-school snack or for breakfast with Enriched Soy milk (not chocolate...I let her take those to school or have as a treat at sleepovers).

Bananas, sliced with almond butter and ground flax with a fresh glass of sesame milk (sesame seeds, a date or two, or dried fruit and water!)

That's a favorite RAW breakfast of mine...

Try congee! Cook rice with 2x the usual amount of water and add spices and veggies (sea veggies too like Nori, Wakame etc to be Macrobiotic ) or add dried fruits and nuts :) Congee is considered to be very healing and good for digestion and building strenght in TCM ;)
