I know I love that cookbook. I made the corn chowder the other day and it was amazing.

No way! I made the corn chowder too last week. Mmmmmm - so thick and scrumptious!! :D

Breakfast:
2 cups of coffee with non-dairy creamer.
1 organic banana
(not much I know, but I was running late for my first day back at work :o )

Lunch:
1 container of home-made mostly organic pasta (rottini, garlic tomato sauce, tomato paste, red pepper, green pepper, mushrooms, garlic, corn, black olives).
Water.

Afternoon Snack:
1 cup of rooibos tea
2 Barbara's Bakery (http://www.barbarasbakery.com/products/catdisplay.asp?category=2)fig bars

Dinner:
1 multigrain breadroll, toasted and filled with: mashed organic avocado, tomato slices, a slice of tofutti cheese and sliced "roast wheat" (meat substitute).
numerous ;) oven fries with ketchup.
Water.

Snack:
soy hot chocolate
2 oatmeal cookies.

3 slices Whole Grains 'n Fiber Apple Spice Bread with Coconut Cream and Maple Butter

1 cup blueberry pomegranate juice with 1 serving hemp protein powder

1 tangelo

1 navel orange

1 cup black beans, 1 cup rice, 1 cup romaine lettuce, 1/4 cup Pico de Gallo salsa, 1/4 cup hot salsa, 1/4 cup guacamole

1 oz. tortilla chips, 2 T. guacamole, 2 T. hot salsa

2 cups broccoli and white beans with nutritional yeast, garlic and ume

1 cup unsweetened soymilk with 2 T. mint cocoa powder

16 oz. lemon water with stevia

40 oz. water

1 Sublingual B-12, 3 calcium/magnesium/zinc/Vitamin D capsules

:) They are so yummy. It was too good to be true (that they were vegan). I even emailed them and asked, and it's safe. The natural flavouring comes from vanilla!

No, I haven't. You have to watch out, some of those contain honey.

I just ate 5 of those cookies! :D

2 cups Thai veggie rice and beans (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, peas, onions, garlic, brown rice, white beans and many spices)

1 cup coconut mango cashew crumble with rye, oat and wheat flakes

1 cup orange juice

2 cups steamed kale with 3/4 cup red lentil shallot sauce

4 cups arugula and romaine, 1/2 an avocado, 1/2 a cucumber, blended with spices and lemon juice (green smoothie, end product 2 cups)

1 cup coconut mango cashew crumble with rye, oat and wheat flakes

2 large slices cracked wheat sourdough bread with 3 T. fresh basil pesto

1/2 a package Tofurkey slices

1 gallon of water and 1 sublingual B-12

2 wheatgrass shots [with some fresh lemon and lime juice also]
2 mugs coffee with a little stevia and pumpkin pie spice

7 baby carrots, .5 c cooked beets, 5 lg strawberries [<-- that made a really good breakfast salad.. cold carrots and strawberries chopped and then i added the warmed up beets. ... yum]

1 raw foods fiber bar [apple flavor.. 14 g fiber!]


It's only 2 pm here and i just got back from working out. i have to clean and do lots of homework so later i'll probably eat a giant salad... idk, this seems like it could be a healthy day for me..? :confused:

Man, you are daring! :eek: Wheatgrass and coffee? Oy! I feel woozy just thinking about that combo :o

As far as this being a healthy day goes, where are your protein-rich foods, nuts, seeds, beans, legumes, whole grains?

You need more calories too, Sweets! :) Way to go with variety of clean foods though ;)

2 slices multigrain bread with vegemite
mixed salad with various salad leaves, spanish onion, tomato, advocado, cucumber, brazil nuts, sunflower seeds.
Coleslaw with cabbage, carrot, chives, parsley and no egg mayo.
Pesto pasta salad with basil, garlic etc.
curried lentil salad - just brown lentils, onion & curry paste.
baked potato.

stone fruit crumble with nectarines and peaches with a topping of oats, coconut, wholeflour and enough brown sugar to taste with nuttlex.

1 organic apple, 1 pear, 1 kiwi fruit, 2 thick slices of pineapple, 1 bunch green grapes and 1 bunch of purple grapes

1 small organic pita bread with homemade hommus, four sun dried tomatoes, mashed in falafel and a sprinkling of rocket

1 dried banana

1 large bowl (3-4 cups) of homemade lentil and vegetable soup
(corn, carrot, pumpkin, green beans, cauliflower etc)

1 piece of organic rye bread with 1/4 of an avocado
1 piece of organic rye bread with vegemite (no margarine)

2 bananas with health shop peanut butter
A LOT of macadamia nuts (2/3 of a packet)

1 piece of wheat free homemade lasagna
(organic rice noodles, cheesy sauce made out of maize flours etc, organic homemade tomato and eggplant bolognaise sauce, roasted pumpkin, steamed mushrooms and crushed pinenuts and almonds with a sprinkling of nutritional yeast)

Green Steamed Veggies: Lots of Bok Choy, Broccoli (oh and red capsicum)

Another banana

yesterday: a large bagel with miso, and a large banana; half a bagel, and 1/2 a mango (it was after a run); lunch at California Vegan: cowboy steak, brown rice, and steamed veggies; a large orange; tofu "egg" salad sandwich (tofu, relish, veganaise, ground mustard and turmeric) on homemade whole-wheat bread, steamed spinach and yellow and green zuchini; more brown rice

pretty good since i was constantly on the go yesterday

2 kale, potato, red onion, garlic and creamy portabello mushroom phyllo purses with 1/3 cup french onion sauce

2 cups Cuban black beans and rice with 1/4 cup guacamole and 1/3 cup salsa

2 cups arugula and 2 cups baby romaine, 1 cup chickpeas, 1/2 a cucumber, 1 tomato and 2 T. lemon garlic Udo's Blend Oil dressing

2 cups steamed beets, yams and carrots with 1/3 cup ginger curry sauce

20 oz. beet, carrot, celery, kale and lemon juice

1/3 cup walnuts and dried cranberries

lemon poppyseed okara muffins (homemade), left-over cowboy steak (a large amount), 2 oranges; tofu "egg" salad (tofu, ground mustard, relish, nayonnaise) on homemade whole wheat bread, a mango, beans; vegan carrot and chocolate cake (:D sooo good) and organic strawberries (again, sooo GOOD!); tofu marinated in rasberry chipotle sauce, and then fried, baked sweet potato, and about 2 cups of steamed asparagus

Breakfast:
Seasme seed bagel with Earth Balance margarine and strawberry spread
Cup of coffee with soy milk

Lunch:
Lightly sauteed zuccini, green pepper, and yellow beans served over brown rice and seasoned with 1 tsp flax oil, lemon juice, fresh garlic, and salt+pepper
2 cups of apple juice (in a fancy wine goblet, oooh la la)

Snack:
2 oatmeal cookies
A few crackers

Supper:
Tofurkey deli slices stuffed inside a pita pocket with tomatoes, green pepper, green onion, and mustard

Dessert:
4 oatmeal cookies
Cup of coffee with soy milk

:o I should go easy on the cookies. Too much sugar (I am at risk for type 2 diabetes). :o
