Aubergine/Eggplant pesto

Does anyone know a recipe for Aubergine (also known as Eggplant) pesto. Most of the commercial products are vegan or apparently vegan.

[I am currently very annoyed as Marks and Spencer seem to have discontinued their vegan aubergine pesto, and I don't yet know if the other easily available brand, Sacla, is vegan]

I've searched on the web, and have found no sign of any recipes for Aubergine pesto. Anybody know one?

sacla char-grilled aubergine pesto is made from vegan ingredients but I cannot vouch for their premises. its readily available so I can put it on the relatives shopping list for my visits.
