View Full Version : Hemp Seeds in Australia?

Does anyone know where I can by either hemp seeds or hemp seed bars in australia? I want to include them in my health bars and biscuits but can't find them anywhere! Please note I mean hemp not that other hoochy coochy stuff!! :)

No. You might have to do a search for an online source, which will tell you whether they are available. They are very good! Much nicer than flax seeds. We can only get hulled, unsproutable seeds here in the USA.

I don't think hemp food products are available in Australia.

Thats a blow. Although I think 'Friends of the Earth' may be getting some soon.

At present the hemp industry in Australia is in a trial and research stage. Licenses were issued for field and laboratory trials of hemp in Tasmania (1991), South Australia (1995), Western Australia (1996) while negotiations for the issue of a trial license have been ongoing for some years in New South Wales.
