I was gutted about having to give up manicures when i went vegan so i was really chuffed to find Dawn, advertised in Pulse, the Sheffield vegan society journal. Dawn is really friendly and her manicure is gorgeous. It takes about an hour; you get a full arm massage, she's really gentle and your nails look completely perfect by the time she'd finished. She's currently researching whether she can find vegan acryillic nail tips so that she can offer this service too.... Watch this space...
Thoroughly recommended.

Brilliant idea for a thread. Nice one! If I ever get to San Diego I'll be sure to book a session with CC. Am more likely to end up in Brighton sooner though, I'll remember to look you up, Hemlock.

Hi All,
I can fully recommend http://www.spiritmantra.co.uk . She is Sheffield based. I have massage or Reiki once a week with her and it's wonderful. She is Vegan herself, could be veggie now I come to think of it. She is really experienced, gives wonderful support throughout treatment and afterwards too. She also teaches.

I'd like to bump this thread and ask people to share any info they have. :)
Let's start with what I know:-
Jigami (http://www.jigamihairdressing.co.uk/) hair salon in Soho, London specialise in colour. They use a range of different vegan hair products and give a 20% discount for Viva! members.
Momiji Tree (http://www.momijitree.com) hair and beauty salon in Primrose Hill, London offer vegan facials with Eminence Organics products as well as vegan hand and foot treatments including nail colour. They also seem to do vegan hairdressing using John Masters products. The colours are probably vegan too (may be the same as Jigami uses) but do double check.
Salon Q (http://www.salonq.co.uk/) hair and beauty salon near Kew Gardens, Richmond, Surrey. The vegan owner is a hairdresser using A'kin hair products (not sure if colours are vegan). For beauty treatments they use the Moor Spa range which they say is 'natural source ingredients, conducts no animal testing' but it's probably best to double check it is actually vegan.
Lush Spa (http://www.lush.co.uk/spa) on Kings Road, London and in Kingston, Surrey do vegan facials and massages treatments.

Hiya,
I've been trying to register to the forum for a while, but always found it closed. Now I'm finally here, yay!
I'm the hairdresser from SalonQ. The colours, shampoos, conditioners, styling products I'm using are
made by Herb UK, no animal testing, no animal ingredients, no ammonia, no parabens, no plastics.
It's a professional range for salon use, and personalised treatments.
And there's always some soya milk in the fridge for the teas and coffees, if you're lucky maybe some biscuits as well. ;)
