Wow... everyone around here seems to be getting food dehydrators lately! I'll say the same thing here that I did in the other thread. If you have a manufacturer's name on it, try giving them a call. They'll likely have a toll-free phone number and you may be able to get an owner's manual from them (possibly for free!).

Also, if it's that old, you may be able to find instructions on the internet as well. --I've done that with my Donvier ice cream maker!

errhhh....mine doesn't have the book either. doesn't have anything more than an on/off switch. made by mr. coffee...hmmmm

Hmm - bought it a year ago - had a book - but got sick of it. My results weren't fantastic (especially fruit leather) and it took way too long. I prefer fresh fruit now but when I have a surplus (of peaches or pears for example), I put it to work.

Try putting celery and carrot. You get some tasty 'chips'.
