Good morning to you all, my name is Shayne and I am the Vegan Chef at the University of the South, Sewanee Tennessee. I am new on the forum and would like to put a shout out for recipes that I can use on my line for the students. Anything would be great, as I am trying to collaborate everything I can find to put a Vegan Cookbook together for myself and the University Dining Hall. Thanks!!!:)

Shouldn't you be giving *us* the recipes? :D

Hi Shayne. Are you the vegan Chef (as in a chef who happens to be vegan) or the Vegan Chef (as in responsible for chef-ing up vegan food)? If you are the latter how cool is it that such a post exists :D .

Oh, and check out the link in Cherry's signature to her great website (but remember, credit where it's due).

Hi Shayne,

I am envious of your job. It sounds cool. Welcome to the board.

Search out the posts by Goodbye Girl. She posts some wicked vegan recipes, especially ones with curry and sea vegetables.

My new culinary discovery is that spaghetti squash tastes awesome with homemade pesto.

Cheers,

I am the latter but working on the first. The University I work is a private university, with about 1800 students. I have a loyal following from students and staff.

Well.....ive just discovered ready made pastry so that makes it a lot easier. Made apple and rhubarb pie just now. Wonder if he will recognise the fat woman rolling in at the airport?
